How to Watch Samsung’s “The First Look” Event at CES 2026

Samsung is pretty much the king of the CES show, with a huge range of products that go from phones and computers to fridges to smart assistants and robots that can roll around. But for 2026, Samsung is mixing things up a bit: Instead of announcing things on that same old Monday morning slot, they’ve decided to give everyone a sneak peek on Sunday night instead.

We’ve had a few hints about what Samsung has in store for us, but what we’re really itching to see is some news on the Ballie robot – remember that little guy from previous CES shows who was promised to arrive in 2025 but never quite made it.

Samsung’s “The First Look” presentation at CES 2026: here’s how to watch it

The whole thing will go down live from the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday, January 4 at 10 PM ET. You’ve got a few options to tune in: you can watch on the Samsung Newsroom, on Samsung’s official YouTube channel, or on Samsung TV Plus. (We’ll add the stream in as soon as it gets posted.)

What to expect from Samsung at CES 2026

CEOSpeaker TM Roh of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division will be on stage talking about the company’s plans for the future, which naturally will include some new AI-driven customer experiences (yeah, we know). In addition to that, the President and Head of the Visual Display Business, SW Yong, and Exec VP and Head of Digital Appliances Business, Cheolgi Kim, will be chiming in on the visual display and appliances side of things.

If you’re looking for a bit more meat on the bone, though, Samsung is following a bit of a “Advent calendar” strategy with its early CES announcements – there’s a new press release going up almost every day. So far, we know that – just like LG and Hisense did – they’ll be announcing a whole line of micro RGB TVs that range from 55″ to 115 inches. Then there’s Samsung’s new line of smart appliances, which come with what they call Bespoke AI built in.

Samsung will likely start laying out more details about what they plan to do at CES 2026 as the 4th gets closer, so we’ll keep an eye on things and update this story when necessary.

CES 2026 is running in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, and Engadget’s crew will be there on the ground writing up all the news and getting hands-on time with the products. Before and during the show, we’ll have liveblogs of all the key press conferences, as well as hands-on reviews and analysis of the latest gear.
