Anker Hints at a Revolutionary Whole Home Hybrid Battery Backup System

Anker is getting ready to unveil what theyre calling the world’s first intelligent hybrid whole-home backup solution. The Solix E10 will be making its debut at CES 2026, though they’re being pretty tight-lipped about the details.

Anker has been working in the home power solutions space through their Solix brand for a few years now, with systems that use modular battery packs – basically giant batteries like the DJI Power 2000 – which can be recharged from the power coming into your home, and also work with solar panels. There’s a pretty wide price range – anywhere from 4,000 to 6,500 bucks or more, depending on what you want and whether you’re adding in solar panels, unless you’ve already got them on your roof.

With Anker using the word “hybrid”, though, it’s a pretty fair bet that there’s another component in the mix. But from the images they’ve posted, it’s pretty hard to get a read on what that might be – a large battery backup, some sort of boxy panel like the one you get with their Solix F3800 kit, and then two other modules that look like they’re keeping secrets.

We know they’ll be spilling the beans more on January 12 at 1 pm EST / 10 am PST, including all the nitty-gritty on the Solix E10s full technical specs and features. Until then, though, we’re just going to have to keep on looking and fill in the gaps with some educated guesses.
