Alienware launches two new laptops with Cherry MX ultra-low-profile mechanical keys

If you are into gaming and that too on the laptop, then you must be familiar with the name Alienware. Alienware has some of the best gaming and powerful laptops in the market and is known for its performance and great hardware. Alienware has recently launched a new laptop in the market which will also come with a new keyboard type called the Cherry MX or ML. It is currently one of the most popular types of keyboard and is available in a lot of options depending on whether they are tactile, linear, or a mix of both denoted with a color. 

Alienware is now the first company to bring the world’s first gaming laptop that makes use of the brand new Cherry MX ultra-low-profile mechanical keys. The new Alienware m15 R4 and Alienware m17 R4 will be the models which will be equipped with these features. The new keyboard has been made with the association of German computer peripheral-device maker Cherry. These switches offer 1.8mm of key travel and have been tested with 15 million keystrokes for durability. It is equipped with a two-piece keycap structure and gold-based cross-point contact system to ensure precision and wobble-free keystrokes. 

It is considered to be one of the best and most popular gaming keyboards in the market and gamers can expect tactile feedback and distant acoustics with each click. Alienware has been able to add a video to the Twitter account where you can actually hear the click of the keys. Keys also offer 100% anti-ghosting and N-Key rollover, along with the ability to program these keys for macro key assignment. It also has per-key RGB backlighting with 16.8 million colors.
