iPhone SE 2022 is almost confirmed to come with a 4.7-inch LCD screen and an iPhone XR style display

Leaks and rumors for iPhone SE are coming out almost every day ever since Apple has launched the new MacBook Pro lineup. As per the latest news from industry insider Ross Young, it seems almost confirmed that Apple is going to use the iPhone 8 display of 4.7-inch, which is an LCD screen, and add 5G capabilities to it. The new handset will be sold as iPhone SE 3 in 2022 and will have 5G connectivity. The insider also confirms that the phone will come with an iPhone XR style screen design, which means that instead of broad bezels.

The iPhone SE 2022 would come with a small notch on the top which will house the camera and sensors. There were also rumors that the iPhone SE 3 would come in another variant where the screen size will vary between 5.7-inch and 6.1-inch. As per the new details, 2022 would only see the launch of the 4.7-inch screen iPhone SE, while the next iPhone SE 2024 will be launched in the screen size of 5.7 and 6.1-inch. Both these new variants will also have an LCD screen but in a bigger size.

However, it is still not confirmed if they will continue to launch iPhone SE in the two years gap like before or if they will launch it in 2023 in the bigger screen size. An iPhone XR-like screen and a better design with 5G are almost confirmed to come in the new variant. Another rumor was about the launch of the iPhone SE PLus in 2022, but that is still unconfirmed.
