Microsoft to hold a Surface event on September 22 with multiple devices set to launch

Surface devices for Microsoft have always been exclusive and a part of their top-of-the-line products. The company is hosting a Surface event on September 22 which could be the platform to launch a new range of products. One of the devices that have been confirmed to be launched in this event is the Surface Go 3. One of the major changes from Surface Go 2 will be in the hardware rather than the design. Also, Microsoft will not be using ARM and will continue to use the Intel chipsets.

The device is expected to be launched in two different variants, where one will be powered using the Intel Pentium Golf 6500Y processor and Intel Core i3-10100Y processor. Although these details were found from the Geekbench listing, the configuration can still change at the time of launch. The device is expected to come with a 10.5-inch full HD display and the housing is made from magnesium alloy. Among these, we can also expect the company to launch the Surface Duo 2 smartphone which will come with a dual-screen design that will be an OLED display and a 360-degree hinge mechanism.

The smartphone will most probably be powered using the Snapdragon 888 chipset and is expected to come at a price tag of roughly $1,400. Apart from these two devices, we can also expect Microsoft to launch next-generation variants of Surface Book 3 and Surface Pro. The launch event could be viewed online through the social media channels of the company.
