Details leaked about Motorola E40 smartphone, Motorola’s next in development

Motorola unveiled a new smartphone, the Moto E20 last week which runs on the Android 11 Go Edition. The Go edition is much lighter and is faster on smartphones with low-end hardware. Now Motorola is working on a new smartphone which will be a slightly more upscale or upgraded model to E20. The details that have been leaked about the new Motorola E40, confirm that the phone will have an octa-core processor, but the details of the processor are not out right now.

As per the speculations, the company could be using a Mediatek chipset on E40, or they could be using the Unisoc T606, which is the same processor used in E20. Other details that almost seem to be confirmed about the smartphone include a 90Hz refresh rate for the screen which will be 6.5-inch in size. In terms of the camera setup, the rear will be equipped with a triple camera setup where we will see a 48MP primary sensor.

The phone could get a depth and ultra-wide camera sensor. It might be possible that the E40 smartphone takes a lot of elements from the E20, as it will be an upgraded successor to the one. No official confirmation and details have been provided by Motorola yet, so all these details and leaks are only speculations for now. However, it would be interesting to see how Motorola will provide it at an appropriate price in the market when kept alongside the E20 smartphone. The phone is expected to launch by the end of this year.
