The most awaited phone in the Poco series, the Poco M2, which is the lite version of the Poco M2 Pro has been announced by the company. The new Poco M2 is supposed to be a budget offering from Poco, providing fast and efficient performance when compared to any other phone in its segment. The new Poco M2 has an Helio G80 Soc chipset, which is paired with a 6GB RAM combo, providing it fast and snappy performance for day to day usage. The company has also confirmed that the phone will be launched with Android 10 out of the box and will have the new MIUI 11.
Other details of the phones include a 6.53-inch FullHD+ display and will have a water drop notch on the top for the selfie camera, which is confirmed to be an 8MP shooter. The screen will have the latest Gorilla Glass 3 protection from scratches. The design of the phone has been made attractive with a two-tone pattern on the back and an anti-fingerprint texture, which makes sure that your phone does not get dirty. The back also houses the fingerprint scanner and a quad-camera setup.
The phone will be fueled up with a large 5,000mAh battery which makes it a very interesting offering in its segment. Now the phone also comes with a USB-C port and supports 18W fast charging. However, the downside of the bundle will be the charger brick given with the phone, which will only support 10W charging and one has to spend extra money to buy a fast-charging power brick. The price of the phone starts from $150 -$170, depending on the variant.
