Redmi 10 launched in Malaysia with Mediatek G88, 50MP camera sensor, reverse charging, and a lot more

Redmi has finally launched their Redmi 10 smartphone in the Malaysian market which will be made available from August 20. As expected the company has launched the phone with a Mediatek processor. However, there is a possibility that the company might launch the same smartphone in another global market with a different processor with the same performance. Malaysia became the first market where the smartphone has been launched and it comes with a full HD+, 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. 

The best part about the display is that it can be switched to 60Hz and 45Hz depending on the type of content that is displayed on the screen. The phone has been powered using a Mediatek G88 processor which is a more modern and tweaked version of G85 and is accompanied by Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone will be launched in two variants which will have 4GB and 6GB of RAM. In terms of memory, one can have either 64GB or 128GB. The camera setup on the rear includes a quad-camera setup where one gets a 50MP primary sensor along with 8MP ultrawide and two 3MP sensors depth and macro. 

The front gets an 8MP sensor for selfies. The phone comes with usual connecting features like Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, and USB-C port The phone also comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and has 18W of fast charging support. It would also support reverse wireless charging of up to 9W. The phone starts at $180 for the 4GB/64GB version and goes up to $220 for the 6GB/128GB version.
