Camera technology in smartphones has taken a huge leap in the last decade. Now one of the most deciding factors of a smartphone also includes the camera, which is the highest-selling feature for most companies. When it comes to premium smartphone brands, they have always tried to enhance their smartphone camera sensors with each upgrade. Be it Apple, OnePlus, or any other smartphone company. Apple recently launched the iPhone 13 series smartphone and displayed the capabilities the phone had in terms of capturing a movie as well.
How could Samsung be left behind in the same and now they have announced a partnership with directors who will use the Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones camera to shoot a movie. The task has been assigned to director Joe Wright, who is popular for his movie Pride and Prejudice. The campaign will start from the movie Princess & Peppernose, which is directed by Joe Wright and it will be captured entirely by the smartphone. Apart from joe wright, the company has also announced a partnership with Chinese director Sha Mo, who will use the smartphone in the shooting of Love Will Tear Us Apart and My Huckleberry Friends.
These are not the only directors, and Samsung is looking for movie creators from all over the world. It has also been announced that both the movie will be unveiled at Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. It would be really interesting to see how a movie made entirely from smartphones turns out to be. Samsung is trying to show its superiority in camera technology through such events.
