Samsung launches Galaxy Quantum 2 smartphone in South Korea

The year 2021 has been really dynamic for Samsung in terms of the new smartphone launch. With so many smartphones being launched by Samsung in the first quarter, the company has revealed yet another smartphone in the South Korean market. The new smartphone has been named the Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 and comes with a lot of new features and premium chipset configuration. The phone has been launched in South Korea today and will be made available in partnership with SKTelecom. 

The smartphones have already been listed for pre-orders and include a lot of offers for customers as well. The major highlight of the phone is the processor, which will be the Qualcomm SD 855+ SoC. Apart from that, the phone will have the signature Samsung Infinity-O display with a top center camera sensor cutout and an in-display fingerprint. The phone has been priced at KRW 699,900, which would roughly come under the Rs 50K market in India. The price is for the 6GB/128GB variant and will come in three color options of Gray, Light Violet, and White. 

For all the customers who are interested in pre-booking this smartphone, they will also receive a free transparent cover and free Galaxy Buds Live. The phone has a 6.7-inch display, which is Quad HD+, and a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It would also house a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, 12 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The front gets a 10MP selfie camera. Powered by a 4,500 mAh battery, it will also support 25W fast charging for smartphones. There is currently no confirmation as to when the phone will be launched in the global market.
