The tablets come as the latest offering from Samsung and are available on online stores like Amazon and Flipkart as well. The tablet has been priced at Rs 17,999 for the base variant and is available in colors like Gray, Silver, and Pink. The tablet comes with a 10.5-inch TFT screen and has an FHD+ resolution along with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The tablet also comes with an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. It is powered by UNISOC T618 SoC and is paired in a configuration of 4GB/128GB. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth V5.0. It is backed up with a 7,040 mAh battery and has a 15W fast charging as well. Overall, it is a feature-rich tablet in the mid-range category and provides a good value for money along with the brand name of Samsung.
The company is also planning to launch a premium version of the Galaxy Tab A8 next month. The premium series of the Galaxy Tab A8 series will include variants like Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. All these tablets will be powered using the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. However, the launch of the tablets might take some time for the global markets, due to issues with the global supply chain. For now, the Galaxy Tab A8 seems to be a great offering in its segment.
