Samsung working on a new M series smartphone, Galaxy M52 5G

Samsung will soon be bringing a new smartphone in the M series, which will be the Galaxy M52 5G. The phone has recently received certification from the Bluetooth SIG authority and it is expected that it will launch by the end of this month. The listing shows the phone with two model numbers SM-M526BR_DS and SM-M526B_DS. The smartphone has also been listed previously on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and China’s 3C authority which confirms that the phone is ready to launch. 

There have also been a lot of new leaks about the hardware specification of the smartphone which includes a 6.7-inch SAMOLED FHD+ screen. The phone is expected to be powered using a Snapdragon 778 chipset and will be paired with at least 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. When it comes to the camera unit, a triple camera setup is expected on the rear where the primary camera sensor will be 64MP, including a 12MP wide-angle lens and 5MP depth sensor lens. 

The front will get a 32MP selfie camera sensor. Apart from these major features, the display will be protected using Gorilla Glass 5, as Samsung has started using Gorilla Glass on many of their new smartphones. The phone will be running on Android 11 out of the box and will have support for 11 5G bands. There is no information on the pricing yet, but it is expected to be above the $450 mark for now. We can expect more details to be revealed in the coming days before the official launch.
