Sony launches the all-new A8H Ultra-HD HDR OLED TV at Rs 2,79,990.

When it comes to audio and picture quality, there is no doubt that Sony has maintained an industry standard to follow in the category of TV. Recently, the brand launched its all-new Sony A8H Ultra-HD HDR OLED TV  at a price tag of Rs 2,79,990 for the 65-inch version. The new OLED TV is a part of its premium offering in the Smart TV market. The TV has Ultra-HD (3840×2160-pixel) OLED display, with support for HDR up to the Dolby Vision format. It is currently launched for sale through Sony offline retail stores, major electronics stores, Sony’s online portal, and Amazon. 

Currently, the user can only buy the 65-inch variant for the TV, with a 55-inch variant also coming very soon in the market. The TV goes directly in competition with brands like Samsung and LG which has released its own smart TV in a similar category at the range of Rs 3,00,000. The TV produces sound output using Sony’s Acoustic Surface Audio technology. When it comes to speaker placement, the screen itself will act as a speaker and will have four speakers attached to it with a total output of 30W.

The TV runs on the Android operating system and has 16GB of internal memory for apps and data. It also has built-in Chromecast, Google Assistant, and Google Play Store for apps, Apple AirPlay 2. The TV also uses Sony’s X1 Ultimate picture processor, along with the company’s Triluminos picture enhancement technology. It has a maximum refresh rate at Full HD resolution and 60Hz at 4K.
