Sony launches Xperia Pro-I smartphone, dedicated to vloggers

When it comes to content consumption in the form of videos, there has been a huge rise in the number of bloggers on social media platforms. These bloggers record their day-to-day life activities and share them on platforms like Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and more. Due to this, having a smartphone with one of the best cameras has become a necessity for people. This is one feature that Sony has been working on consistently and have provided smartphones with the best camera quality. In the month of April this year, Sony launched the Xperia 1 III smartphone, which had really impressive specifications and camera units.

Now the company has launched a new smartphone in the market that has been specifically created for bloggers. The smartphone is Xperia Pro-I, also pronounced as Pro Eye, where the I stands for imaging. The major highlight of the smartphone is the large 1-inch main camera sensor, which uses the same Sony RX100 camera sensor along with 12MP resolution. It also has a variable aperture from f/2.0 to f/4.0 to provide optimal light capture in different scenarios. The sensor is known to provide much better images and videos even in low light with more natural depth.

With the smartphone, the company has also launched a new Vlog monitor to convert the smartphone into a dedicated blogging machine. It is attached to the back of the smartphone and helps the users to record themselves while looking at the screen. It is a 3.5-inch HD display and needs to be connected to the smartphone through a USB-C port. The company has also announced a new Videography Pro, joining Photography Pro and Cinematography Pro for a better shooting experience.

It also has two other camera sensors which are a 12MP ultrawide and a 12MP telephoto lens. The phone will also come with a 6.5-inch 4K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,500 mAh battery. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset and will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The phone will come at a cost of $1800, while the Vlog monitor will come at $200. The pre-orders for the device start on October 28, while the shipping starts on December 10.
