Vivo Y53s smartphone launched in India with virtual RAM feature

A new smartphone by Vivo has been launched in the Indian market with the name Vivo Y53s. The smartphone has been launched at a price of Rs 19.490 and comes in two color options of Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow. The phone is available for sale from today on the official website of Vivo India with schemes from many different banks as well. The phone has been launched in just a single variant of 8GB/128, and also comes with the new feature of virtual RAM where the device can get 3GB more RAM from unused memory.

Vivo explains that the availability of this device at this price range will increase the offering from Vivo in India at the different price ranges. It will also make sure that the users are able to get premium features at different price ranges. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display and also a triple camera setup on the rear which has a 64MP primary sensor. The phone will also come with a 5,000 mAh battery and will be supported by 18W of fast charging.

The phone will be running on Mediatek Helio G80, which can be a bit of a letdown at this price point. Since most of the companies are now providing a 5G chipset in their smartphone at a lower price, using a G80 seems to be kind of old. Although Vivo is trying to expand the product offering in the market, the value for money concept seems to be missing, which can be seen by brands in the same category like Xiaomi and Realme.
