Capcom servers hacked, leading to leaked details about game launch till 2024

Capcom is one of the oldest and most popular gaming companies in the world however, the company has not revealed any big gaming titles for a while now. However, there has been a major leak that has now spoiled the surprise from Capcom that they had been planning for a long while. The leak provides the details about games, which the company has been thinking about releasing in the future till 2024. The game release now only had a lot of new games, but also some sequels and special surprises. 

The company already announced the launch of Resident Evil Village in near future and a sequel to Resident Evil VII. Monster Hunter Rise is also on the brink of launch and will be released on Switch in March 2021. Earlier this month, the company was hit by a ransomware attack which led the company to shut down the server almost immediately and completely. Due to the attack and before the server could be shut down, the upcoming Capcom titles were leaked to the masses which also has a release date for Resident Evil VIllage, which was set to come in April 2020.

The hacker got all the details regarding Capcom’s entire release schedule through 2024. It includes Resident Evil series like Resident Evil Outrage in 2021 and Resident Evil Hank in 2024. There would also be a remake for Resident Evil 4 in 2022 and Power Stone which will be a 3D arena fighter from 1999, totally revamped. Other games include Dogma 2 (Q2 2022), Monster Hunter 6 (Q2 2023), and Street Fighter 6 (Q3 2022), with an “Ultra” version coming in the fourth quarter of 2024.
