The leaks have been provided by Max Jambor who confirms that the month of March next year will also see the announcement of a third smartphone, called the OnePlus 9E.
While there are no specifics about the phone that can be discussed, it does seem like the phone will be sitting somewhere between the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Nord lineup. The phone will be offered as an upper mid-range smartphone for the users. Details were also in the air that the company is looking to launch a new Nord SE phone in the series next year. This strategy has already been followed by companies like Samsung, Apple, and Google, where they have released a SE lineup along with the premium flagships.
The E series seems to be a similar product from OnePlus which would aim to provide a premium flagship experience in a smaller package. For the last few months, OnePlus has been trying to add a smartphone in almost every price range to attract more customers and get them the best value for money phone. It would be interesting to see if the expected device would be a part of the OnePlus 9 series or the Nord series.
