The smart TV market is one of the most popular ones after smartphones. It is the reason why many smartphone and tech companies have now started launching their own brand of smart TVs. In the same trend, yet another brand is jumping into this pool. This time, it’s Oppo, which is more popular in bringing a wide variety of smartphones in the market with impressive selfie cameras. The company has already announced that they will be launching their first TV in a digital event on October 19.
The event will take place in Shanghai, China and the company has also launched a teaser for the same. The teaser does not give a lot of information about the product or details about the launch. However, with the leaked 3C certifications, of two different TV models, coded as A65UB00 and A55UB00, we do have the confirmation that the TV will be coming in 65-inch panel and 55-inch panel.
There are also reports that the TV will come with a selfie camera and we can also expect the brand to unveil a 4K QLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MEMC chip. Also, the smart TV will be supported by almost all the popular streaming services available globally. There are currently no details as to if the TV launch will be done on a global scale or only the Chinese market. But it is expected that they will initially be launched in China and later to the global market. The price point for these TVs will also be a deciding factor.
