The new Samsung Galaxy A12 might launch next week

With new Samsung smartphones coming in the future, the company is planning to extend its lineup for all the series. Among those expected, the new Samsung Galaxy A12 is expected to launch in the Indian market as soon as next week. The smartphone was announced in the European market last year in November and since then the company has been waiting for a few certifications to launch it in the other market. Now the phone has recently been spotted on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification last month which hinted at an Indian launch very soon and now the tipster Ishan Agarwal has confirmed that the phone will hit the market next week.

The phone will be a budget offering from what one can see from the European launch. The phone was launched in three different variants of 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. If we evaluate the Indian market price as per the price that has been announced in the European market, it would cost from Rs 15,800 to Rs 16,700 as per the variant selected. The phone will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear along with a 5,000 mAh battery as well.

The color options available for the phone in the European market are Black, Blue, Red, and White. Also, it comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display. It features an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, which might change due to the launch in the Indian market. In the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture housed in a small notch.
