Apple announces macOS Big Sur update, specifically made to work with M1 chipset powered devices.

Apple has recently released the M1 chipset for Mabooks which will be powering their future lineups. With the launch of M1 chipsets, the company has also officially released the biggest macOS update which is macOS  Big Sur 11.0.1 version, which can be downloaded through the software update in settings on Mac. This is one of the biggest updates for macOS users and brings in a lot of major changes to design, performance, privacy, and closer compatibility with iPhone and iPad apps. 

The new update brings in a lot of new improvements and optimization to make the Mac work a lot faster. You will see the redesigned control center, which would be very similar to what you see on the iPhone. Also, it now includes Intelligent Tracking Protection in Safari and a snapshot of the privacy criteria for each app in the App Store. The big thing about this update is that it will be compatible with all the Apple devices running on either Intel Chipset or the new M1 chipset.

As per the company, the macOS Big Sur is specifically designed to make better use of the new M1 chipset and work in seamless integration. As per the company, the developers will be able to create a single app for both their Intel and M1 chipset based systems. The new OS update also brings in faster performance, better image processing on FaceTime cameras, and longer battery life, with the ability to run iPhone and iPad apps directly on the Mac.
