Apple iPhone 12 Pro to get the LiDAR lens from iPad Pro

Apple iPhone 12 is expected to launch in October, due to a month’s delay with the supply chain. In the meanwhile, almost all the specs of the phone have already been leaked and are almost confirmed to be a part of the new generation device. The new series of iPhones that will be launched this year will be the first 5G device from Apple and they are leaving no pages unturned when it comes to adding some unique and very interesting features to the mobile device.

Now, the company might be adding the new LiDAR depth camera lens to the iPhone 12 Pro, which was a part of the iPad Pro this year. The Lidar lens has been manufactured by Sony. This lidar system uses pulses of light to precisely measure the distances of objects from the camera lens. The LiDAR lens is one of the revolutionary products from the house of Sony. With this lens, you can expect the camera to have a better focus and a clear distinction between the background and foreground.

This technology helps to provide a better portrait shot and increase the quality of the image. The LiDAR lens was introduced to iPad Pro in April this year, which made the camera of the iPad Pro much more superior. Adding the same to the Pro model of the iPhone 12 would make it even costlier and feature-rich. The iPhone 12 Pro model is expected to come in two variants 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch and feature is expected to be in both of them.
