New iPhone series 12 teardown video shows the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem.

As soon as the new iPhone models are launched, you will be able to see a lot of new videos about the phone, its reviews, specs, and even teardown videos. These teardown videos help to understand the internal design of the phone and the type of components that have been used to make it. This time, iPhone 12 teardown video has surfaced online just ahead of its sale and is live online. The teardown not only shows the entire components of the new iPhone but also shows the new Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem inside, something that was not mentioned by Apple or in the leaks before the launch

The same modem has also been used in the latest and high-end smartphones like Mi 10T and OnePlus 8T. It also shows Apple has tried to make more space for the antennas to enhance the 5G experience. The video was posted on Weibo and Youtube to highlight the similarities that exist in iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 to bring in 5G to the iPhone. Few differences between the two highlight the larger logic board, Taptic engine, and loudspeaker assembly, which are smaller than iPhone 11 to add new components to the iPhone 12 series.

Also, the OLED display in the iPhone 11 is thicker than the display used in the iPhone 12. The teardown video also shows the magnetic ring on the rear of the iPhone, called the MagSafe. The modem discovered in the iPhone 12 model provides support for both 5G mmWave and Sub-6GHz networks.
