New Update from Lightroom app removes Photos, Presets of Apple Users.

Lightroom is one of the best editing software for iPhone and iPad users when it comes to editing. Recently the app had a software update for the devices which was basically meant to fix previous bugs and provide stability improvements to the app. However, once the update was installed, it did not bring a good sight for lots of Apple users. The update had a serious bug due to which all the photos and presets stored in the cloud storage disappeared. The issue has been acknowledged by Adobe, however, the bad news is that all the photos and presets that have been lost in the update cannot be recovered.

The update was released on Monday after which many of the users started complaining that their photos suddenly disappeared after the update. The adobe update for Lightroom is 5.4.0 due to which the issue occurred. The official statement from Adobe is “We are aware that some customers who updated to Lightroom 5.4.0 on iPhone and iPad may be missing photos and presets that were not synced to the Lightroom cloud“”.

Some of the customers are really upset about the update as Lightroom had years of photos and presets that were purchased for thousands of dollars. A similar issue was noticed with Canon as well, were the videos and photos stored by the customer suddenly disappeared from the storage.

If you have still haven’t updated the Lightroom app on the Apple device, it is strongly suggested that you should wait a few days before updating it.
