The new Nokia 5.3 launched in India

Nokia has finally launched the much-awaited Nokia 5.3 and will take on the likes of Realme 6, Redmi Note 9, and Samsung Galaxy M11. The phone has been launched under Rs 15,000, which makes it a great offering in the mid-range smartphone market. The phone debuted in the month of March this year and will finally go on sale for India. The Nokia 5.3 has been built with a glass back and a matte finish, which also houses the circular quad camera setup. The front screen has a water drop notch and is a 6.5-inch HD+ display.

The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset and Adreno 610 GPU, with the variants having up to 6GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 10, with a possible upgrade to Android 11 once it is launched. When it comes to price, the base model with 4GB+64GB specs will be priced at Rs 13,999, and the second variant with 6GB+64GB will be priced at Rs 15,999. The phone also comes with a large 4,000mAh battery, which can provide a full battery day once charged. The handset comes in three unique color variants, called the Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal.

The phone goes on sale from September 1, and the pre-orders start from August 25. Nokia has also joined hands with Jio, providing the existing Jio Customers with cashback and vouchers on purchasing the handset. However, the phone is not offering any 5G band connectivity but is still a good deal for customers who are looking for a balanced phone that can provide both performance and battery life at the same time.
