Samsung Galaxy S22 series is on its way and will soon be launched by Samsung. We already know that it is going to come with a lot of new features, better hardware, and a great design, but the only thing that was left unchanged was the fast charging technology. The smartphone came with only 25W fast charging technology till now and the same was reported to continue in the Galaxy S22 series as well.

However, as per the new details, it seems that Samsung is finally going to up their game and add 45W fast charging to their new smartphone. The catch is that it will only be available in the high-end variant, which is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Note/Ultra variant. Apart from this, the other two variants will only come with 25W fast charging support, which is a bit disappointing looking at the price they come up at. Also, the vanilla variant of the smartphone will only come with a 3,700 mAh battery, which is less compared to the battery capacity offered by smartphones at present.

The vanilla S22 is expected to charge the smartphone in 70 minutes with 25W fast charging. Also, since Samsung is not providing the charger inside the box, the users will have to purchase them separately, especially the charger with 45W fast charging. The smartphone will be launched on February 9 but the phone might not be available for sale immediately. It is expected that the S22 Note/Ultra variant will be made available for sale immediately after launch, while the S22 and S22+ variants will be made available for sale after a short delay.

The acquisition of gaming companies or gaming studios is in the news nowadays. Recently, Microsoft made their biggest acquisition of Activision and now Sony seems to do so with Bungie. Sony has recently announced that it is acquiring Bungie, who are responsible for developing the Destiny series and were also the original creators of the Halo game. We know that Microsoft and Sony are two of the biggest competitors in the gaming world with their Xbox and Playstation consoles, and both of the companies have been trying to offer more exclusive titles to make their consoles a lot more valuable to the users.

In this attempt, Microsoft acquired Activision and now Sony has acquired Bungie. As per the details that have been reported by The Verge, the deal is worth $3.6 billion. Although it does not count much when we compare it to the $70 billion deal Microsoft is paying for Activision, Sony has still been able to acquire Bungie at a good value. Bungie was earlier purchased by Microsoft in the year 2000 and then was split from the company in 2007, which made it an independent company again.

Another thing that Sony has confirmed is that titles like Destiny 2 will continue to support cross-platform play and will not be made exclusive for Sony in any case. Bungie will be allowed to work in the same way as before and they will have full independence with game development, Sony said. It appears that the deal was made by Sony only to keep Microsoft’s hand off the gaming studio

The major upgrade that the new iOS update will bring is the push notification feature for the web apps on the iOS devices which was not available till now. iOS developers can now publish unlisted apps through a private link

Most of the apps that are listed on the App Store for iOS are meant for anyone to download who needs to use the app. To make sure that the app reaches the maximum audience, it is posted on the App Store. However, there are apps created by the developers which are only meant for a certain group of users, and posting them on the App Store would only lead to more costs for the developers. Currently, Apple allows the developers to restrict the app download on App Store based on the geographical location.

It would help in only allowing people from a certain country to download the app. Now iOS developers will be able to publish unlisted apps on the App Store through a private link. These apps can be made for a group of users like employees in an office or the members of a group etc. The private links for these apps can be distributed by the developers based on their preferences. It would allow the developers to share their apps with a small circle of people.

However, the apps can be downloaded by anyone through the link and there is no restriction in doing so. Apple has also suggested the developers add a mechanism in such apps that could prevent any unauthorized usage through the download link. The app that will be published through the private link will not appear in the public search results and recommendations of the App Store.
