Samsung will soon be launching its new smartphone early next year which is Galaxy A53. The phone will be a successor to the popular Galaxy A52 5G. Recently high quality render images of the smartphone have been leaked online which gives a clear picture as to how the smartphone will look like. The phone will have a flat panel on the rear with a curved camera panel that does not come out as a bump. Therefore, the camera panel will be flat in line with the rear panel.

The phone will have four camera sensors on the rear along with a LED flash. The phone will be 8.14mm thick and it will most probably not come with a headphone jack this time. It was also reported that the smartphone will come with a bright AMOLED display that will support a 120Hz refresh rate and will have a primary 64 MP camera sensor on the rear. The four-color options are almost confirmed for the smartphone in Black, White, Light Blue, and Orange.

Also, like the Galaxy A52, the company will not release a 4G version of the smartphone first. They will launch only a single model next year which will have 5G capabilities. The phone is due to arrive in the month of March or April next year along with many other devices. There is still no official confirmation from Samsung about the phone and we will most probably see the official announcement next year only.

Google explain slow fingerprint sensor performance in Pixel 6 smartphones as enhanced security and protection

Google launched its Pixel series of smartphones last month and it comes with an extensive range of exclusive features. Although on the most part the phone works exceptionally well, it does have some shortfalls as well. One of the major issues that users have been facing with the Google Pixel 6 is the slow fingerprint sensor. The customers did not like the experience especially after spending so much on the latest premium smartphone from Google. However, Google has a specific reason as to why the fingerprint sensor is a bit slow.

As per them, the slow fingerprint sensor on the smartphone is due to the additional security that it provides. It is one issue that most of the customers have been taking up to the internet and other platforms like Twitter and Facebook. Although it is one of the most powerful smartphones by Google, the lack of speed on the fingerprint sensor has become very irritating for the customers. As per the reply on the user’s Tweet, Google has posted that the issue mainly arises due to the enhanced security algorithms where the added protection takes a little longer to process the fingerprint security.

If we consider this statement, then this is not a bug with the Pixel smartphone and we might expect Google to release an update in the future which could make the fingerprint sensor a bit faster. Till that time, it seems that the users are stuck with the mechanism and will have to stay with it. Many critics have also claimed that it is not a security enhancement but Google has been unable to implement fingerprint sensors on their smartphones properly, as none of the other smartphones from different companies have the same issue.

Microsoft OneDrive has been one of the best cloud services for users across the globe. However, Microsoft will reportedly be making changes to the services. The company is announcing the end of support for the OneDrive desktop application that runs on Windows 7,8 and 8.1 operating systems. The announcement was made through a blogpost and it was mentioned that the resources will now be used for the new services and providing the most secure services to the users.

It is why the updates for the above-mentioned will be stopped from January 1, 2022. If you were automatically syncing the data through the OneDrive desktop application on Windows 7,8 and 8.1, then it will stop syncing automatically after the announced date. The users will then have to manually upload the files through the web from their devices. Although the support for the desktop app will end on January 1, the app itself will stop working after March 1, 2022.

One of the major reasons for doing so is to push the users towards the newer operating system like Windows 10 and 11. For now, the company is already providing extended support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 till January 10, 2023. So if you are still using the OneDrive desktop application to sync the data on the cloud, then it would be best for you to either upgrade your OS or look for a different cloud service that can automatically work on the older Windows operating system. To check whether your PC is available for Windows 11 upgrade, you can run PC Health checkup to know if your device meets the requirements

When it comes to online games on smartphones and mobile devices, many companies have been trying to do so with games having console-quality graphics. Netflix has been trying to do something very similar for a long time now and finally, we might see some of those games very soon. A few months back companies like Google and Microsoft wanted to host their games on the Apple App store through their dedicated app.

However, since Apple wanted all the games to be individually hosted on the App Store while claiming the charges for each download, both Microsoft and Google denied their terms and decided not to host games on their platform. Now Netflix seems to be the first one among the competitors who will be accepting the terms of the App Store on iOS and will be launching each game individually. Netflix has recently announced that they will be launching their first mobile game worldwide on the iOS platform individually on the App Store.

Users will be able to launch the games using their Netflix app but they cannot be played on the same app itself. Users will be redirected to the App Store where they could download the game first and then launch the game from the Netflix app. Users with multiple devices running the same account will also be able to run these games. Most of the games that Netflix will release would require an internet connection to run, however, a few of them will also be available offline for them to play.
