A while back Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users reported an issue where the phone automatically made calls through Google Assistant. The issue made Google Assistant automatically make random calls to people from the contact list. The issue was reported to Google and they have now released a fix for the same through an update. The update brings the fix to the pre-loaded apps on Google Pixel 6 series. Also, the company has recently added a heart rate tracking feature to the smartphone with an update.

The ghost calling a bug, as reported by the Pixel community manager has been fixed through an update on Google App version 12.43.18 and later, which is now also available for download. The bug was discovered soon after the launch of the Pixel 6 series where the phone automatically made calls to contact even when it was not in use. The reason behind it is stated as mishearing sounds by Google Assistant, such as “Hey Google ” and making random phone calls.

Some users also resolved the issue by manually disabling the Google Assistant on lock screen feature which makes Google Assistant unresponsive when the phone is locked and not in use. If you have been facing the issue with the new Pixel 6 series, it is advised that you should update the Google App to the latest version immediately, and once updated, enable the Google Assistant feature on the lock screen as well. The update is now available on the Play Store to download and install.

Rockstar Games has been one of the most popular gaming studios for a long time and especially for their most popular game, Grand Theft Auto. Recently, the studio released GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition on November 11, which included the remastered version of their old GTA games. However, soon after the game was provided in the online stores, Rockstar Game Launcher was pulled offline for emergency maintenance, and the same was also notified to the users through a tweet.

However, even before that happened, many users were able to play the game and were able to capture screenshots and images. It was also found that the game has shipped with unlicensed music and dev notes, which should not have been a part of the game. Although the maintenance was fixed in a day, the users were able to point out a lot of bugs, issues, and crashes in the new game trilogy. Users also had complaints regarding missing textures, invisible props, bad lighting, heavy rainfall, bad character renders, and more.

Many users also went out to social media and claimed a refund for the game and to launch it after the bugs have been fixed. Now the gaming studio will be releasing the physical copy of the game in December and the users are expecting the bugs to be resolved by then. For now, if you have not purchased the new version of the remastered game, then it would be better to wait for some time unless the bugs are fixed.

When you see a video on the Youtube platform, you always have the option to either hit the Like or Dislike button, adding to the popularity of the video. However, it might soon happen that you will not be able to see the Dislike button anymore. Youtube has announced a major change in their platform and has decided that the Dislike count for a particular video will now be made private on the website and app. Therefore, only the video creator will now be able to see the number of dislikes on the video instead of the viewers watching the video.

The dislike button and the number of dislikes and like have remained a part of the Youtube platform right from the start. However, as per Youtube, the feature will benefit the content creators and will avoid any kind of “dislike attacks“, which were very common last year as well. It would also help to protect the creators from any kind of harassment on the content. The dislike button will still be a part of the video like the Like button, but the stats of the dislike will only be available to the content creator.

Therefore, users will still be able to hit the dislike of the video if they want to. The feature was added as an experiment earlier this year but was only visible on random channels, but now it will be available to all the channels from now on. Some users think that this feature will not do any good, as they dislike count is used to determine misleading and clickbait videos as well and also a video that was potentially a scam.

Google Chrome OS has been gaining a lot of popularity over the last few years due to the smooth and easy UI experience and the availability of all the Google tools that one can work on. It is why Microsoft has recently launched their new operating system which will be a direct rival to Chrome OS. The Windows 11 SE and Surface Laptop SE are the new versions of operating systems that will be aimed primarily at the education sector.

The operating system is so specific that it will only be shipped on educational devices. The Windows 11 SE was leaked online in July and provided a lot of new features and improvements for students. It also includes offline features like Microsoft Office App for students and can help students to work on it even if they do not have internet access. The operating system is a more streamlined version of the Windows 11 operating system, therefore, you will see a similar interface but something that can run smoothly even on low-end hardware.

The OS will be shipped on devices that cost under $300, which is also apt pricing for laptops aimed at students. It can run Win32 desktop apps but will not come with Microsoft Store. The OS has been specifically designed to reduce the distraction and make the students rely more on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome-based apps. We can also expect the performance of this OS to be much better as it has been optimized for low-end hardware.

Redmi Note 11 series will soon be making a global launch in the smartphone segment and is also one of the most popular smartphone series by Xiaomi. Redmi Note 11, Pro and Pro+ variants have recently made their debut in the Chinese market with Mediatek Dimensity chipset. However, it seems that the phone will be powered with a Snapdragon chipset in the global variant. The details came in through the Vietnamese portal, called the Pixel. As per the post, the phone will be launched with a Snapdragon chipset globally and will also have a different back panel design as seen in the images.

Another source has also confirmed that the decision might have been taken due to the shortage of supply in the Mediatek chipset for Xioami. It is expected that the company will be using the Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695 processor in the global variant. The Redmi Note 11 that was launched in China, had a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen along with a 320 Hz sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also had a 5,160 mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.

It came with a 108MP camera sensor on the rear and was powered by Dimensity 920 chipset. Similarly, the Pro + variant had 120W fast charging support when wired charging is used and a 4,500 mAh battery. It does not seem that the variants launched globally will have any change in the features and hardware except the change in processor. However, it will only be revealed in the official global launch if Xiaomi is planning to change other aspects of the smartphone as well.

Users will now be able to hide “last seen” on WhatsApp from a specific person

While using WhatsApp you might have used the feature where you can hide the “last seen” status from other users. However, it will be applied to all the people on WhatsApp and you cannot do that for specific people. Now a new feature has been added to the beta version of WhatsApp where the same feature can be used but only on a specific number of contacts.

With this active feature in the beta version, the users can hide the “last seen” status from specific contact only, while the other contact will be able to see the “last seen” status. The feature has been in development for months now and has finally been released in the beta version. The feature is currently available only to a limited beta member and will be made available to all the other beta users in the coming months.

Since this feature allows you to hide the “last seen” from a specific person only, you will not be able to see the “last seen” for the same person. The feature works in the same way as it used to for the feature before. Also, WhatsApp might be bringing more such features in the upcoming beta version which has been long due in the development. For now, this new feature can be rolled out on the app in the next few months, most probably anytime next year. Until then, if you have beta access to the WhatsApp messaging app, then you can check if the feature is currently available for you or not.
