Amazon has been working on new voice structures for Alexa for some time now and recently they also added a male voice to Alexa in certain countries. Apart from these, there was a special addition for the Indian consumers as well. A while back, it was confirmed by Amazon that they will be adding the voice of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan to Alexa, and now it has been finally made true. It makes Amitabh Bachchan the first Indian celebrity who has collaborated with an e-commerce giant for such a venture.

The announcement for the same was made last year and now the voice of the grand star has been added on Thursday. To add the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, one can do so from the Amazon India shopping app on Android. Using the mic button, one can add his voice. However, this will not be entirely free and users will have to pay a yearly subscription of Rs 149 and use “Amit Ji” as the word to wake up Alexa.

The best thing for Indian customers is that they can even give voice commands in Hindi. This is not the only addition to Amazon Alexa, but they are also looking forward to adding the voice of many other stars and celebrities to Alexa. Using different voice patterns would give users to connect with Alexa in a different and personalized way. It’s a great way for Amazon to connect with more users through Alexa, something that other voice assistants do not have right now.

Google is soon going to launch their new set of Pixel devices, which will be the Pixel 6 series. However, no one expected that with the launch of the new series, Google will be discontinuing the smartphones that were launched last year. Google has indicated that it will soon be discontinuing the Pixel 5 smartphone, which is their current flagship phone, along with Pixel 4a 5G. As per the details, the smartphones have been marked on the Google online store as sold out and only the retailers have the remaining stock until sold out.

The discontinuation of Pixel 4a 5G was understood as Google will be launching the Pixel 5a 5G in a short period, which will be a perfect replacement for the smartphone. However, the discontinuation of the existing flagship is unusual, especially doing so even before the launch of the Pixel 6 series. Google has also confirmed that from now on they will be using the custom-built chipset for Pixel smartphones called Tensor.

The chipset has been specially designed for Pixel devices only and will help to provide a much better performance and a set of features unique to them. If you still want to purchase the Pixel devices that have been discontinued, you can either try to buy the stock from a physical retail store or an e-commerce store until the stocks last. However, the decision has surely surprised the Pixel customers and as per experts, it has been done due to the use of custom chipset in the future Pixel devices.

Google has been working on Android Auto in order to integrate into almost all cars and get them connected to the users. A while back Google confirmed that users will now be able to use the Android Auto app on their smartphone and use it the same way as the Android Auto display screen. The main purpose of the same was to replace the dated display with smartphones which are always accessible to the users. However, Google has suddenly made a big change to the same and has removed the support for Android Auto from a smartphone.

It does seem surprising as there was no information from Google about this in the past. A shortcut for Android 10 devices was created which could use Android Auto on the smartphone. However, many users have recently reported that they are unable to use it. The same issue has also been reported by many Pixel users as they were unable to use the app in Android 12 Beta. The warning notification asks the user to try out Assistant Driving Mode and that the Android Auto will no longer be supported on the smartphone display.

Now Android Auto will only work in a car with a dedicated car screen. The changes have not hit many users, for now, however, it could be rolling out with the release of Android 12 later. One can still use the Assistant Driving Mode on the phone but it is not as convenient as Android Auto. For now, users will be able to use the Android Auto in almost every region, unless the update rolls out.

Dating apps have become common these days and millions of users have been using them to find friends and people they can communicate or date with. However, one of the most common issues that users have been facing on such platforms is fake profiles. There are a lot of genuine users on such platforms, but then one can also find many fake profiles that do not have genuine information about the users. One of the most popular dating apps, Tinder has finally found a way to resolve the issue or at least make the users provide their genuine information while making the profile.

Tinder will soon be launching a new way to verify the users on the dating application to confirm if they are authentic. Once applied, a person can only register and use the app if they have an ID card used to register their details. The same policy has been applied in Tinder for Japan, where the users will have to provide a government-registered ID like a passport, driver’s license, etc. Tinder will be expanding the same policies to the global users slowly to identify if the profile has been created by a real person.

For now, ID verification will not be mandatory but it can be made mandatory in the future. Tinder feels that it makes the platform safe and also increases the chances of users interacting with a real person and getting matched. Tinder has not given any kind of specific as to how the ID details will be managed with privacy and security, but as the policy will be implemented globally, the information will soon be released.

Apple Watch Series 7 leaks have been all over the internet over the last few months. however, the new leaks also bring in CADrender images of the watch which gives a lot of new details about it. It was earlier suspected that the Apple Watch 7 would go through a design change and the new set of renders does confirm it. The major change that can be noticed here is the flat display that sits on the top of it. These are very similar CAD images when compared to the images that were leaked previously.

This means that the design could be very similar when the final product is launched. The image shows flat sides with no curves on the screen. The CAD design also shows a silicon strap that will be coming up with various other options to replace it. The design also shows that the company has continued with the same position for the Digital Crown navigation, microphone, and the selection button. The back of the phone contains the usual sensors.

The new watch will have a 1.8-inch screen as per the rumors and will be slimmer than before as well. The leaks also suggest that a new chipset will be used in Apple Watch 7 along with a bigger battery as well. Also, we might see a change in the display technology that will be used in it. we expect to see a lot more leaks about the design and specifications in the future, until then the available information gives a good idea about what we can expect from Apple.
