Infinix launches InBook X1 and InBook X1 Pro laptop range in India

Infinix was present in India with only smartphones, which not only provided value for money but great performance as well. The company has now finally entered the laptop segment as well and has launched InBook X1 and InBook X1 Pro laptops, which are running Windows 11 operating system. The InBook X1 series will have two variants which are powered by Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, while the InBook X1 Pro variant will have Intel Core i7 processors. All three laptops have been equipped with a 14-inch full-HD IPS display and have up to 512GB SSD storage.

The laptops start at a price tag of Rs 35,999 for the Core i3 variant with an 8GB/256GB configuration. The Core i5 variants come with an 8GB/512GB configuration and have been priced at Rs 45,999. Finally, the Core i7 variant comes at a price tag of Rs 55,999 and 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The laptops will be made available for sale from December 15 and will run Windows 11 Home edition.

The InBook X1 series has Intel HD graphics and an HD webcam as well. It has been paired with 1.5W speakers and 0.8W tweeters. It comes with USB 2.0, 3.0 ports, and USB-type C ports as well. It has a 55W battery with support for 65W power delivery for charging. The Pro variant comes with Intel Iris Plus graphics and the same webcam and speaker setup. It has an upgraded Wi-Fi 6 and has a 55W battery with 65W fast charging.

Motorola to launch two new smartphones in India in the first quarter of 2022

Motorola has been really active with smartphone launches, especially in the last two quarters of this year. However, the launch spree does not seem to end for the company and we can expect a lot of new phones in the next year as well. As per the details, Motorola will be launching two new smartphones in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2022. One of those devices is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. 

One of the smartphones that are most likely to be launched in India with the same chipset is Motorola Edge X30, which will be launched in China on December 9. It is expected that the same smartphone will launch in India in January, possibly under a different name. Another smartphone that is expected to launch in India next year is the Moto G71, G41, or the Moto G200. However, the launch of Moto Edge X30 is almost confirmed in India and it comes with a wide range of features. 

Some of the features that have been confirmed by Motorola include an OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate support, HDR10+ support, and 10-bit colors. The phone will also come with up to 16GB RAM variant and 512 GB in-built memory. The phone might come with minor tweaks in India when compared to the variant that will be launched in China. The phone will also have a triple camera setup where it will have two 50MP camera sensors as well. It is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box and will also include support for 68W fast charging and a 5,000 mAh battery.

MacBook Pro 2021 users are facing issues while using an SD card on the machine

The new version of MacBook Pro 2021 has already been launched by Apple a few weeks back and users have started facing minor bugs while using it. As per the reports that have surfaced online, users are facing issues while using the SD cards on their machines. The users claim that the SD cards are not detected sometimes, and when detected, the transfer speeds are very slow. The issue is common among both 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros.

The SD card support made a comeback in this year’s MacBook Pro and was one of the highlighted features. It was basically aimed at photographers and videographers to directly transfer the files from the device to the laptop using the SD card. As per the report, the number of users facing the issue is large and continues to grow. The users are also facing issues where the window crashes or they are unable to mount the card in the slot.

The users have also tried using SD cards from multiple brands but the issue remains the same. Users have also reported error messages when they were trying to mount the SD card and have claimed that even formatting the SD card does not work. The issue has been reported to Apple, but the company has not responded to it yet. There is currently no timeline as to when the issue will be resolved. For now, the users are requested to use external card readers for the time being.

Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone spotted on 3C certification

Xiaomi 12 is next in line with premium flagship smartphones that will be launched by smartphone giant Xiaomi. It is said to be the first smartphone in the market that will feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone has already appeared online in many leaks and we already have a fair idea of what to expect at the time of launch. The phone has now been spotted on the 3C listing, and this time it is the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone.

The listing reveals and confirms the addition of 120w fast charging support in the smartphone. The phone is expected to launch in the month of December, and the tentative date is December 28. The phone will have three variants on offer initially, which are Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and 12 Pro. The model number of the Pro variant that was spotted on the certification site was 2201122C and confirms the availability of 120W fast charging. The phone is expected to come with an AMOLED screen and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone will have a new generation chipset, which means that it will have the best performance in its segment. It will also be equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage. The rear will have a primary 50MP camera lens and a 4,500 mAh battery to run it. The phone is also expected to come with an Android 12 operating system out of the box. However, it seems that it can come with Android 11, and an upgrade to Android 12 in the coming months.

HP Omen 16 (2021) gaming laptop launched in India

When it comes to gaming laptops in India, HP is one of the most dominant companies. Recently they have launched yet another gaming laptop in India which is the HP Omen 16, 2021 edition. The new gaming laptop comes with a great display, strong build, and the best performance in the segment. The laptop has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 1,39,999 and can be purchased through HP online and offline stores including other e-commerce platforms.

The laptop was launched in the US in May at a price of $1,049.99 which is almost Rs 79,100 in Indian value. Therefore, the price has almost doubled in the Indian market. It comes with a 16.1-inch IPS display with QHD resolution and 165Hz refresh rate support. The display is also equipped with Eyesafe display certification by Germany’s TÜVRheinlan. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-11800H processor and has Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU with 8GB graphics memory. It is supported with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and has 1TB of SSD storage.

Some of the unique features that the laptop offers are the Omen Dynamic Power technology that allocates power between CPU and GPU in real-time using an infrared (IR) thermopile sensor. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE revealed on Samsung’s UAE website before launch

Samsung is all set to launch the new Galaxy S21 FE smartphone next year along with the new premium flagship smartphone. However, Samsung recently published the phone on their website by accident which provided a few confirmed details about it. The details were published on the UAE website of Samsung and were removed almost immediately. The support page for Galaxy S21 FE 5G was available for some time on the website which revealed the smartphone in green color and model number SM-G990E/DS. As per the model number, it is expected that the smartphone can be launched with the Exynos 2100 chipset. 

The specifications of the smartphone have already been leaked on the internet but they are still not confirmed. As per the reports, the phone is supposed to have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display along with support for Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will either be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset or Exynos 2100 depending on the market. It will also come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. 

The rear is expected to come with a triple camera setup, where the primary sensor will be 12MP, along with an ultra-wide sensor of 12MP. The front will have a 32MP selfie camera and will also have an in-display fingerprint, stereo speakers, and IP68 rating. It will also get a 4,500 mAh battery along with 25W fast charging support. The available color options apart from the green ones are black, pink, and white. 

Sony to launch a new Xbox Game Pass like service for PS4 and PS5

If you already have an Xbox gaming console, then you might know about the Game Pass subscription from Xbox. It is actually a subscription service, which provides the user with access to hundreds of the latest games for free. Due to this, the Game Pass service already has thousands of users subscribed to it. It not only avoids the hassle of buying new games, but also provides access to multiple new games for free, which can be easily installed and played.

Something very similar was a mission on Sony Playstation for now, but not anymore. A new service for Sony Playstation 4 and 5 will soon be launched, which has been codenamed “Spartacus“. The new service would lead to the merger of existing Playstation Plus and Playstation Now services. The service is expected to start in Spring and it will provide the user’s access to free monthly games for a monthly subscription. The new subscription services would include all the perks of existing Playstation services and will add a good amount of games to the collection.

The highest tier subscription of the service will also provide the users with games from PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP. It is expected that the service is going to add a new big title as soon as it is launched. It seems that Xbox Game Pass is going to have a very tough competition from “Spartacus“, however, not all the details for the same have been revealed yet. Xiaomi might launch the new K50 smartphone series in February 2022, with a new gaming variant

It has already been known that Redmi is going to launch the new K50 series smartphone very soon. However, till now there have been no confirmations from the company regarding the launch date. New reports have been found on the internet which hints that the company could be looking forward to launching four different variants of the K50 series smartphone and one of those variants could be dedicated to gaming only. Therefore, we can expect the variant to have specific buttons and software features for gaming.

The new smartphone range is expected to launch in the month of February 2022 as per the new details. The information has been leaked by Digital Chat Station and they confirm that out of the four variants, two will be powered with Mediatek chipsets, which will most probably be Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000. The remaining two variants will be powered by Snapdragon 870 and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1. It is also suggested that the new smartphone could be the first one to come with MIUI 13 directly out of the box instead of an upgrade.

The new smartphone variants will have at least 5,000 mAh battery capacity and will feature Xiaomi’s 120W fast charging technology. It has also been speculated that the smartphone will come with a quad-camera setup on the rear and the primary camera sensor will be 64MP. Also, the phone will come with IP68 certifications. Lastly, the smartphones are expected to come with OLED or AMOLED displays, which makes them one of the best displays in the segment.

WhatsApp working on a new feature to mute message reactions

WhatsApp has been continuously adding new features to its platform which has allowed it to gain a huge competitive edge over its competitors. Not only that, it has allowed users to have more features and ease of access as well. As per a recent discovery from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is now working on a new feature on its platform which allows users to mute the notifications for message reaction. The new feature was found in the WhatsApp Desktop client beta version 2.2147.11. 

The new feature is currently also being developed for the iOS and Android versions as well and will have the same kind of functionality. Once the feature has been added to the platform, the users will have another option in notifications where they can mute the reactions to the messages. The only difference that has been detected is that the desktop client will only have the option to mute the reactions for all messages, which would include messages from individuals and groups. 

However, smartphone users will have the option to mute either group or individual message reactions. WhatsApp has not confirmed when the feature will be released for global users. As per them, the feature is still in the early stages of development and would require time before it is launched. However, the feature is going to be very useful where the users can get rid of unwanted notifications for reaction to messages. Apart from this, the company is working on many new features that are still under the beta stage and will soon be released globally.

Moto G51 5G smartphone coming to India on December 10

Motorola has finally confirmed that they are going to launch the Moto G51 5G in India on December 10. The smartphone was launched alongside Moto G200 last month in Europe and now it will finally be launched in India. The launch date was confirmed on Twitter and they have also confirmed that the smartphone will be available for sale through e-commerce giant Flipkart. The phone would be available in three different color options which are Aqua Blue, Bright Silver, and Indigo Blue.

The phone is expected to launch with the same specifications that were launched in Europe. If there are no changes, then the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 480+ SoC chipset and will have a 4GB/64GB variant on sale. It will have a 6.8-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display, which will also support a 120Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it will house a triple camera setup where the primary sensor will be 50MP, along with 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will also be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and fast charging support.

The phone was launched in Europe at a price of EUR 229, which makes the expected price of the smartphone somewhere around Rs 20,000 in the Indian market. It will run the Android 11 operating system out of the box which is expected to give a fast UI interface similar to the vanilla Android interface. Apart from this, the company will also be launching Moto Edge X30 smartphone in China a day earlier on December 9 and they also have a few launches set ahead for European markets.
