One of the major features of Facebook is that it allows the user to add and upload video with a longer length when compared to its other platform Instagram. However, it is soon going to be the same for Instagram as well, as the company will not allow users to add a video with a 60-minute length, which will be shown in the regular feeds. The company will be rebranding IGTV as Instagram TV which would focus more on seamless video experience for the users. The company is removing the IGTV video format permanently and that the posted videos will not show on the main Instagram feed.

Before the changes, the users had to leave the main app and view the videos on IGTV. However, the new IGTV that will be rebranded, would now be available on the main feed of Instagram, which means that the user does not have to leave the main app any time. The step has been taken to increase the user engagement in video format and grab more user base from TikTok. However, doing this is removing Instagram from its basic platform of sharing photos online.

The company understands that but have they have also confirmed that it helps them in competing with other apps as well. After the acquisition from Facebook, Instagram has been through a lot of changes where more and more features are being added to the platform, which is similar to Facebook. Be it the messaging services or the video experience, all of them have been enhanced to make the platform more interactive for users. It would be interesting to see the kind of changes it brings to user engagement.

Windows 11 has been officially launched as a stable version and every user with Windows 10 can get a free upgrade to Windows 11. It is not only better in performance and interface but also provides users with many different security features. Among all these features, it seems that not everyone will be able to gain an advantage from the new operating system. It has been found that many users are having a very hard time upgrading their operating system and the problem seems to be big, especially in China. The major cause of this issue is the requirement of Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for Windows 11, and foreign Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is already banned in China.

Due to this, many Chinese PC users are unable to upgrade their Windows systems. Since the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chips are the requirements for Windows 11, most of the countries are able to upgrade. However, it is not possible for Microsoft to not know about the ban of Trusted Platform Module (TPM) in China, but still, they have not addressed the issue before the official launch. The issue was mainly found in China and Russia, where Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is not present in the systems.

YouTube video

While other countries go with Trusted Platform Module (TPM), China goes with Trusted Cryptography Module(TCM). Therefore, there does not seem to be a resolution for the same right now and currently, Chinese users are unable to upgrade their operating system. However, Microsoft will not let one of the biggest markets of consumers just go down like that. We might see an exception or resolution for the same in the future.

SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speaker launched by Sony features Dolby Atmos

Sony has been a great name when it comes to audio products and they have recently launched the world’s first wireless neckband series which features Dolby Atmos. The SRS-NS7 comes with a WLA-NS7 Bluetooth transmitter, which can be used with Sony Bravia XR TV and transfer the Dolby Atmos audio to the speaker. What’s great about the feature is that the sound output can be customized for every user through an app.

One simply has to use the Sound Personalizer app and take the picture of their ears. Once taken, the app will create an HRTF map of the ears, which will be fed into the system, and accordingly, the Atmos sound delivered through the speaker will be as per the specific ear and head shape. The device also helps in decreasing the latency in the studio between the TV and speaker, providing a better audio experience. However, the low latency feature is very specific to Bravia XR TV and will not work the same on TV from other companies.

The speaker is not only compatible with screens and TV, but it can also be paired with the smartphone easily. It also includes a built-in mic which can help users to make calls through the same. Since it has the latest Bluetooth version, it can be connected to two devices at one time. It has a single active driver and one passive radiator on either side, which are angled upwards. It is IPX4 splash resistant and has a very durable construction as well. It comes with 12-hour battery life and also comes with a quick charge. It has been made available for pre-orders and has been priced at $300, with the WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter sold separately for $60.
