One of the worst things that people usually had a complaint about within Samsung smartphones was the ads in the first-party apps. It is not only irritating for many customers but also decreases the user experience. However, it seems that Samsung has finally realized that it has started removing ads from the proprietary apps. These pre-installed apps had a lot of ads due to which the usability of these was decreased and users often went for alternative apps from Google Play Store.

Now, Samsung has decided to remove these banner apps from certain apps. The information was posted in the Samsung Community Forums, where the users noticed that the banner ads from the Samsung Weather and Samsung Pay app had been completely removed. The smartphone was Samsung S21 Ultra and the same was also noticed on the Samsung Health app, Samsung themes, and Members app as well. The moderator of the forum also confirmed that these ads on the app have been removed from October 1, which has been confirmed by Samsung Health Manager Operation.

Although the company has decided in the right direction, it is still only limited to its premium devices. There is no confirmation as to when the same will be implemented in other mid-level or smartphones from other segments as well.

Windows 11 might not be the ideal operating system for gamers

Windows 11 is one of the most secure operating systems from Microsoft and it has features that will not only keep the user data safe but also help to detect any kind of malicious activity over the internet through in-built features. Although it might look like one of the most promising operating systems to date, it might not be as good for gamers, due to which UL benchmarks, the publisher of 3DMark software, has suggested gamers keep away from Windows 11 as it can reduce the gaming performance up to 30%.

The issue was found with Microsoft’s virtualization-based Security (VBS) function of Windows 11, which is not allowing the games to work with full performance. Once the user upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows 11, it will automatically be activated and will decrease the running score and gaming performance. However, this was done on the preview build of Windows 11 and it might have been fixed to a certain extent in the final version of the operating system.

Microsoft VBS security function uses hardware virtualization to create a safe memory area to run programs, where the programs get isolated from the operating system. Due to this we can find a lag or drop in performance of the games on Windows 11. The same was also noticed in 3D Mark test software. Some users also believe that upgrading to Windows 11 immediately would bring a lot of issues initially, so they should wait for some time before upgrading to the new operating system as most of the bugs would have been resolved by that time.

These are just other small-scale issues that will be resolved with regular updates. However, a large-scale bug has seemed to emerge for the iPhone 13 series recently, as er which the users are facing any issue with the touch sensitivity. As per the complaints on Reddit, the users are unable to get any response from the touch screen. Although the issue has not been resolved yet, the temporary fix for the same is to restart the smartphone and the issue will be resolved.

The complaints could be found on Twitter, Apple support posts, Weibo, and more. Some of the users have also said that they are facing the same issue when they upgraded their old smartphone with iOS 15, but the large-scale issue seems to be with the iPhone13 series. Therefore, it most likely seems to be a hardware issue in the latest smartphone. iPhone 13 is high in price and users expect a seamless experience when they pay such a price. Therefore, so many bugs coming out from the stable version of iOS 15 from Apple, seem to be a surprise.

Virtual memory is the next feature in the line that will be made common among phones in the future. It is still available on many smartphones but not all of them. The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G which was launched by Samsung a while back also had this feature, named RAM Plus. For those, who do not know about it, the features use free 4GB onboard storage on your smartphone and convert it into RAM when required.

It would not only increase the performance of the smartphone but will boost the performance when required, like playing games. Now, it looks like Samsung would be the first company to extend the feature through their different smartphones and segments. While the feature was hidden in Galaxy A52s 5G, it will soon be available in mid-range and budget smartphones from Samsung. Infact, the feature will also be a part of their premium lineup as it is already there in Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The feature was added to the smartphone through a software update and it seems that it will be added to all the other premium segment smartphones as well. The RAM Plus feature does have its limitations like it cannot be extended further than 4GB in any condition. However, we can expect things to change in the future as Samsung will be working on improvising this feature. Also, there is no option to turn off this feature. To check the feature, one can open the settings app on their Samsung phone and go into Battery>>Device Care>> Memory.
