The all-new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE edition launched.

Samsung recently launched its new FE series or the Fan edition series of the Samsung Galaxy S20. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has been launched as a phone for Samsung lovers, who want to own a Samsung device, but do not want to shed around$1000 or more for a premium flagship device. A few days back Samsung also confirmed that they will be releasing a FE or Lite version of the premium flagship every year, for people who are looking for premium specs under a much affordable price range.

The all-new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) has been launched at the price tag of $699, which is very less than the original Samsung Galaxy S20. Although the company has made a few tweaks to the phone to make it much more affordable. When it comes to the features, it does take a lot of features from the original premium flagship model and looks very similar in design. The major difference seems to be in the body which is made of plastic in the FE model while it was glass in the Samsung Galaxy S20.

However, the phone does not feel cheap and feels premium and sturdy. The frosted finish on the body makes the phone look very premium. The FE model has a larger 6.5-inch screen than the Samsung Galaxy S20 and also has a small chin at the bottom. The resolution of the screen has been decreased to FHD+ and uses a flat display as opposed to a curved display in the Samsung Galaxy S20. The RAM has been reduced to 6GB and the cameras are a little different as well.

The FE edition will not be able to shoot videos in 8K as in the Samsung Galaxy S20 but has taken the feature of single-take mode from the premium flagship. The phone retains the 120Hz refresh rate on the screen and a 4,500 mAh battery on the phone. Also, the phone will be available with 128GB of RAM. The phone has been tagged as the affordable version to the premium flagship segment of Galaxy S20, but is not cheaper in any way and retains most of the premium flagship features, making it a great offering in its segment.
