As per a recent report, Twitter users have been facing a new issue on the platform where the tweets are disappearing automatically while the user is reading them. The tweet seems to be disappearing all of a sudden or the feed seems to refresh automatically anytime. The issue has been persistent with users across the globe and on all devices. Due to this, they are unable to find a particular tweet and is also causing an annoying experience.

Thousands of users have already reported the issue to Twitter and the company has acknowledged it. Twitter has been trying to explain the issue in Tweets multiple times and has now confirmed that they will be working on a new way to show the tweets. As per the company a tweet usually moves up while replies were added to the ongoing convo and since convos can evolve quickly, users were unable to see the same tweet in the feed again.

The new method that the company will be adding will allow the user’s timeline to be refreshed and will avoid any tweets from disappearing while they are being read. Therefore, the company is working on a new display system for the tweets and has confirmed that it will take at least a period of two months to change and apply it. If you have experienced a similar problem on the platform, then you will have to wait for a certain period of time until Twitter finally fixes the issue with the new resolution.

All the users who have been using iPhones understand that they would require a completely different charger with the lightning port to charge their device. However, the same is not the case in Android smartphones as most of them are using the common USB-C port connectors for charging. Apple has been using different connectors and chargers since the beginning which also makes up for their market for iPhone accessories. However, it seems that the scenario is soon to change in the EU.

The European Union has confirmed that it will soon be bringing out a new regulation that will impose a universal charger for all smartphones. Although it will not affect Android users a lot it is widely going to affect Apple as they have been using different connector cables for a long time now. The European Union says that using a common charger will cut down on electronic waste. However, Apple mentions that it will cut down on innovation and will create more pollution as well. The EU executive vice president Margrethe Vestager said that the people are frustrated with the incompatible chargers piling up with them.

A decade back, the scenario was different as there were plenty of different charger options for every company, but now the chargers can basically be divided into three major categories which are Apple lighting cable, Micro-USB, and USB-C chargers. As per the EU, consumers are spending more than 2.4 billion euros annually and such changes will help reduce the spending. Also, Apple has been trying to make the legislative body understand how the change would be unwarranted and totally not required.

It is said that the Google apps will be taking the advantage of capabilities that iOS 15 offers. Many of the Google apps are working slightly differently on iOS 15 and one of the changes is the Focus mode.

It has been designed to eliminate any kind of distraction and eliminate certain notifications when active. It would replace the Do Not Disturb feature. Now when this mode is active, Google Apps are expected to work in a different way, which does not disturb the users with unnecessary notifications. Apart from this, Google apps now have a new set of widgets as well, which provides a new way of finding content on Spotlight. The widgets are also bigger and better in visual design.

WhatsApp has been working on a lot of new features to make its app more feature-rich, but apart from that, the team is also working on making the app a lot more secure. It has been reported that WhatsApp is going to change the way message reporting was done by the users. For now, if the users want to report a message, the last five messages from the users will be forwarded to WhatsApp automatically and it will be checked further to see if the user needs to be banned.

The new message reporting system is currently being tested in the beta phase on the Android device and allows the users to select the single message from chat and then report it to the company. It would provide complete control to the user on the message they want to forward to the company. The screenshot has been shared by WBetaInfo on the internet which shows how one message can be selected and then reported to the company.

The feature will be applicable both in group chats and individual chats as well. Also, if you are messaging someone in a business account or receiving messages from a business account, it can be reported in a similar way. As per Facebook, which owns WhatsApp, the feature would allow moderators to make a better decision if the user needs to be banned or not. It is expected that the feature will not take a lot of time before it makes it to the stable version of the Android operating system and then later to the iOS version.
