Samsung is all ready to launch its new Galaxy A52S 5G in the Indian smartphone market. Samsung has been trying to add 5G connectivity to almost all their smartphones that will be launched in the future and they have already launched a 5G variant of many smartphones that have been launched in the past. This time, it is the Galaxy A52S 5G. The Galaxy A52 5G was initially launched this year as a mid-range 5G smartphone, which lacked success due to low performance in the segment.

However, Samsung decided to relaunch the smartphone as Galaxy A52S 5G, which will cover all the shortcomings of the A52 smartphone and will provide a much better performance and package to the users. The device will be powered using a Snapdragon 778G chipset, which is a great upgrade from Snapdragon 750G. The phone will also have an enhanced Adreno 642L GPU. The phone has already been launched and will soon be made available in India as well.

Google Chrome has been one of the most popular smartphone browsers on Android and other smartphones throughout the world. Every time a new Android version is released, Google Chrome is also upgraded with new features. We all know that Android 12 will be released later this year or next year by Google and with it, the Chrome browser will also add a lot of new elements. Earlier this year, Google Chrome was spotted by developers and testers working on a new kind of tab management in Android smartphones which will also lead to multi-window support.

The multi-screen feature is already available on Android where two apps can be open simultaneously. However, the feature will now be brought to Google Chrome as well. In Android 12, it will allow the users to open multiple browser windows in split-screen mode and view the contents of both side-by-side. As per the latest details, the users will be able to open five different Chrome windows at one time and one can open as many tabs as required. All the instances will be placed on a split screen and can be accessed simultaneously.

Also, the new window button will appear in the context menu and once the device enters split mode, it will allow the user to open another Chrome window in the vacant space. It will also be a great feature for foldable smartphones where the screen can be used in more ways than one. Google will soon launch this feature and will also give more details on what has been added to it.

Last year when OnePlus offered the OnePlus Buds series, the company added Google Fast Pair support to it as well, which made pairing and connecting with Android smartphones a lot faster and easier. This year, the company is all set to launch the OnePlus Buds Pro but this time they will not have the support for Fast pair. Although the Google Fast Pair support is available on the OnePlus Buds and the OnePlus Buds Z, what made the OnePlus step back from it in the Pro series.

The Google Fast Pair feature not only provides a better, faster, and seamless connection but also allows the device to be shared and paired between multiple Android devices. Although it was not available during the testing phase of the Buds Pro, it was thought of only being a pre-release issue. However, OnePlus has confirmed that it will not have Google Fast Pair, but will have the Fast Pair support for only the OnePlus smartphones. It has also been shown through images that have been released by OnePlus.

It would make Fast Pairing only accessible to OnePlus smartphones. It does not seem to be the right step forward for the next generation TWS from OnePlus, but they want to make the feature exclusive just for the OnePlus smartphone, while the pairing process for another Android smartphone will be the usual. Although the feature is not available in the Pro series, we can still expect OnePlus to make changes to the device before the launch and they might add Fast Pair support based on users’ feedback.

Apple iPhone 13 is the next smartphone series that Apple will be launching this year. We already know that the new iPhone will bring a lot of new features and hardware changes such as the display of the phone. As per the new rumors that have been coming through, it might be possible that Apple might decide to add an in-display fingerprint reader to iPhone 13. It would be very similar to what one can see in most of the premium flagship devices.

However, it might not be iPhone 13 and can be something that Apple would be thinking for iPhone 14 series next year. The company has been testing and working on under-screen fingerprint scanners for a while now. However, some reports that have made the internet, states that the iPhone 13 will have a new Touch ID that will be built under the screen. It might also be a possibility that Apple will be adding the FaceID infrared scanner inside the screen instead of the notch.

The under-display camera has started picking up and manufacturers like Samsung has already been offering it to the customers, with companies like Xioami already testing it. Therefore, we can expect Apple to either reduce the size of the notch on the display or remove it completely for under-display components. There are a lot of new elements that will be seen in the iPhone 13 that will bring a major change in the way the iPhone works. The smartphone will be released later this year from Apple.

Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone in India on September 3. A couple of days back, it was confirmed that Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi 10 smartphone in India as Redmi 10 Prime. Now, they have confirmed that the phone will arrive on September 3. However, it is still not clear if the launch will be specifically for the Indian market or the global market. Xiaomi is also preparing for another event on September 15, where the company will announce their new Pad 5 and 11T series of smartphones.

The company claims that Redmi 10 Prime will come with “Superstar features” and by the looks of it, it does look promising. The phone would be the first in the non-note series which will receive a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a Mediatek Helio SoC, which will also offer 5G connectivity. The phone would also include a 5,000 mAh battery and a quad-camera setup on the rear.

Although Redmi Prime devices are more focused on the affordable budget segment, it does seem that the company is going to provide more than 5G support in this variant when compared to Redmi 9 series last year. We do hope Xiaomi will make a few more announcements at the launch, but any major announcement can only be expected from the September 15 launch event. After this, the next launch that everyone would be waiting for is the Pad 5, which is the new tablet from the company after a long time.

Xiaomi has undoubtedly been one of the most successful smartphone companies in the world which have been able to gain a large chunk of the global market. Xiaomi first entered the Indian market with their smartphone Mi 3 and ever since then, Mi has been a brand that every household in the country knows for smartphones. Mi has been a brand for Xiaomi for almost 10 years now when they launched the Mi 1 and since then the brand has flourished ever since. The company has recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of Mi and has now decided to drop the brand name for the future.

Therefore, all the smartphones that came with the Mi branding, will now come with Xiaomi branding in the future. For example, the Mi 11 series will now be branded as Xiaomi 12 series in the future and it will be applicable for all smartphones with Mi branding. It has now officially been confirmed by Xiaomi through their spokesperson. The MI brand stood for mobile internet and mission impossible for Xiaomi and it was related to the smartphone segment that they were offering to the customers.

However, the company has landed into many other segments ever since like IoT products, lifestyle products, laptops, and a lot more. It is one of the primary reasons Xiaomi might have thought of leaving the brand name. However, the exact reason has still not been confirmed by Xiaomi. It will be interesting to see how the company replaces the Mi branding in every aspect.

A while back WhatsApp added the payment functionality for the users to make payments to the contacts on WhatsApp. It was not only useful for making payments to contact but also to the business account on WhatsApp. Now a new feature has been spotted on the beta build of the app where new shortcut buttons have been placed for making the payments easier. While this feature is currently in the beta version, it will soon be added to the final stable version of the app in the coming months.

Before this, the users had to go in the chat action sheet to send payments, but now they have a dedicated button to do so. The button was spotted in the beta version v. 2.21.17. The button will be available in both the Android and iOS versions of the app, where the iOS version is still being developed. WhatsApp has supported the UPI payment method for Indian users and has been looking to expand the payment methods and options for the users through it.

The feature was not present to all the users of WhatsApp at once and was slowly rolled out to the global market, which has led to the increase of WhatsApp payment methods over time. This is not the only new feature that is being developed for this platform. WhatsApp has also been working on a lot of new features which could make it a good e-commerce platform with ease of payments for the users.
