One of the major issues that WhatsApp users have been facing for a long time is the migration from iOS to Android and vice-versa. Since the app uses different cloud services on both OS, the back is not migrated to a device of a different platform. However, the company is now enabling a new feature after which, users will easily be able to shift the Whatsapp chat from iOS devices to Android. WhatsApp has been working on a new tool for a couple of months that would allow easy migration for users who are changing smartphones from iOS to Android.

The new migration tool is now ready and will soon be launched for users. The only catch in this is that not all users will be able to use it for now. The feature was announced in the Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung demonstrated how users can transfer the messages and data from WhatsApp if they are coming over from iOS to Android. The feature is currently exclusive to Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip3 but the feature will slowly be made available to all other Samsung phones running on Android 10.

After that, it will be available to all smartphones running on Android, regardless of the manufacturer. However, using the method will also make Google Drive on Drive backup the recently migrated data, which would remove the WhatsApp data that already existed on Google Drive. WhatsApp will soon announce when the feature will be made publically available to all users.

From what the packaging looks like, it seems that the company might opt-out of providing the charger in the box.

The tablets will have rounded corners and will be supporting 5G connectivity as they will be using the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The leaked details also confirm that the phone will run on Android 11 out of the box and have a 6.5-inch full HD+ screen that will also come with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone can come in different variants, but the confirmed variant in the leaks comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory onboard. Vivo has launched yet another budget smartphone in the Indian market without any kind of fuzz or event. This time, the smartphone is Y12G. The phone has been launched in the budget segment and packs a decent performance. The phone has been launched at a price of Rs 10,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant. The phone currently comes in two color options of Phantom Black and Glacier Blue. These can be purchased through the Vivo India website.

The phone will not have anything new but does provide a good package at this price point. The phone comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ screen which has a dewdrop notch in the front for the selfie camera. The rear gets a dual-camera setup where the primary sensor is 13MP and the secondary sensor is a 2MP depth sensor. The phone also comes with a large battery of 5000 mAh and supports 10W of charging speed through a wired connection.

Although it is a budget smartphone, it does have Multi-Turbo 3.0 mode for gaming and for reducing stutters. The phone does support 4G connectivity and also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader in the power button and face unlock for security. A new smartphone by Vivo has been launched in the Indian market with the name Vivo Y53s. The smartphone has been launched at a price of Rs 19.490 and comes in two color options of Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow. The phone is available for sale from today on the official website of Vivo India with schemes from many different banks as well. The phone has been launched in just a single variant of 8GB/128, and also comes with the new feature of virtual RAM where the device can get 3GB more RAM from unused memory.

Vivo explains that the availability of this device at this price range will increase the offering from Vivo in India at the different price ranges. It will also make sure that the users are able to get premium features at different price ranges. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display and also a triple camera setup on the rear which has a 64MP primary sensor. The phone will also come with a 5,000 mAh battery and will be supported by 18W of fast charging.

The phone will be running on Mediatek Helio G80, which can be a bit of a letdown at this price point. Since most of the companies are now providing a 5G chipset in their smartphone at a lower price, using a G80 seems to be kind of old. Although Vivo is trying to expand the product offering in the market, the value for money concept seems to be missing, which can be seen by brands in the same category like Xiaomi and Realme.
