The next in the line of launch from Samsung is the Galaxy S22 series that is expected to launch next year. It was earlier rumored that the company will be launching the next-generation premium smartphone in the month of February, but it seems that the company is now going to delay it further. The details were provided by leakster Jon Prosser, who confirms that the launch date will be shifted forward due to the ongoing supply chain issue which has affected the production of smartphones around the world.

As per the details, the delay is not much, as the phone is now expected to launch on February 9 as earlier expected to February 8. However, the phone will now be available for sale on February 25, which is a week’s delay from the original date. The issue does not seem to affect the launch of Galaxy S21 FE which is expected to launch in the month of January.

The phone will launch as per the expected dates and will be the first smartphone from Samsung to launch in 2022. Samsung has been facing similar issues with other smartphone launches as well in the past. The reason has been the same for almost every company where they either had to delay the launch or increase the smartphone price due to supply chain issues. Recently Realme had to increase the price of their smartphone due to the same issue as they were unable to get the components at a better price and availability.
