One of the two major chipset companies in the smartphone industry, Mediatek has released another chipset in the Helio series which can be a major upgrade for 4G smartphones. While the companies are creating more 5G chipsets in the market, Mediatek has offered two premium chipsets in the category. The two chipsets released by them are Helio G96 and G88. Both smartphones bring a lot of new features and support for more upgrades. The Helio G96 is the successor to the G95 chipset and has a pair of Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05 GHz and six A55 cores.
The configuration is the same as G95 but the GPU has been degraded to Mali-G57 MC2. However, the chipset does come with upgrades, like a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p+ resolution for the display. It will make a considerable upgrade in the display for 4G smartphones. The best upgrade can be recognized as the support for a 108MP camera sensor, but the video will still be recorded at 30fps on 4K. It also includes a better Bluetooth 5.2 version, faster LTE speeds, and faster storage.
The Helio G88 is a successor to G85 and has the same processor as the previous generation. It has the same GPU Mali-G57 MC2 and gets 1080p+ resolution support along with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also brings support for a 64MP camera sensor which was previously 48MP. Both the chipset will soon be seen in the smartphone that will be launched in the future as many smartphone companies have now adopted Mediatek chipset for their smartphones.

Captions are very important for a video or audio in case the listener or viewer is unable to understand the language of the audio or is unable to hear the audio. Something very similar was expected from Twitter when they launched the voice tweets feature on their platform. However, the company decided not to add the captions to the feature at that time. Twitter has now finally decided to roll out the captions for the voice tweet feature which was launched in June last year.
The voice tweet feature is currently only available to the iOS device and now when you create a voice tweet, the platform will automatically create the captions for the same in the language options like English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, French, Indonesian, Korean, and Italian. In order to see the caption or hide them, the user can click on the CC button icon that will be available on the top right corner of the tweet window.
Although, the feature will not be applicable to the older tweets which have already been made. After installing the new update, the captions will only be created for any new voice tweet. The Twitter team behind the feature announced it and has confirmed that the users might see some variation in the captions, which will be improved with time. Captions are also provided by Twitter in Spaces social audio rooms where it can be turned off or on using the CC icon. The absence of this feature was highly criticized before and now it’s there, people will use voice tweets more easily.

However, the launch of multiple foldable smartphones from Samsung in the future and the launch of the iPhone 13 this year is also going to give a boost to other companies.

When it comes to the services and products offered by Jio, they are known to be value for money and also a lot more affordable than the competitors. The company already offered their feature phone in the market for the users which can be used with the Jio sim. Now the company is already launching a new and affordable touch screen smartphone that will provide all the basic features one can ask for and is going to cost a lot less than the competition.
The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will come into the market during the festive season later this year. According to report files by Canalys, the phone is going to provide a lot of features and will provide a complete value for the price, but will not provide a very large impact in the short term. As per them, there is a global shortage in the supply of smartphone components and also the price for these components has been regularly increasing. It was expected that the phone would cost around $50 which would have been a lot more affordable than any smartphone in its competition.
However, with the supply and pricing problem coming up, it would not be easy for Jio to fulfill the requirements of manufacturing such an affordable phone. However, Canalys also confirmed that the condition will be improving in the market later which can make the condition better for Jio. However, with the current scenario, it would be interesting to see if Jio is able to provide the smartphone during the timeline in which they have promised.
