The last few months have been very critical for WhatsApp when it comes to security flaws. A lot of new flaws have been found and fixed for the app in the past few months. Now, yet another security issue has been found in WhatsApp where it allows the attackers to gain access to all the sensitive information of the users. The issue has been brought into light by CERT, which is a cyber agency in India.

They have informed WhatsApp about the vulnerability and have confirmed the loopholes and weaknesses in the security structure of the app. The vulnerability has been discovered in the app before version v2.21.4.18 and before version v2.21.32 on the iOS platform. It’s not just one, but multiple loopholes have been found in the app which would provide the attacker with access to the code and information of the user. The reason behind the vulnerability seems to be a cache configuration in the app and the lack of any checks within the audio decoding pipeline.

For now, the agency has recommended the users update the app on their smartphone to the latest version to resolve the issue. WhatsApp has not confirmed that issue till now however, the issue does not seem to be visible in the latest version. It is not the first time this has happened, as a lot of new bugs have been found in the code of the apps in the past few months, leading to the risk of data being exposed to attackers and hackers.

When it comes to online travel aggregators, Cleartrip has been one of the most recognized names in the Indian market. However, the last few years and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, left the company dry. The Walmart-owned company has now been acquired by e-commerce giant Flipkart, which was announced by Flipkart on Thursday. The amount for which the company has been acquired has not been disclosed by both companies.

However, it seems like Twitter is filling up with a lot of goodbyes and farewell messages for the company. Cleartrip acknowledged all the farewell messages and said that the incorporation of product design and experience to the travel segment is what made Cleartrip more popular and since 2007, it has been following the same concept, further improving it over time. While checking out Twitter, it was found that all the customers and users of Cleartrip were actually very happy with the type of interface and easy booking experience they had with Cleartrip.

Now, the agreement states that although Flipkart will be acquiring the company and taking over all its operations, it will still allow Cleartrip to work as a separate brand as it was before. As per the agreement, all the employees of Cleartrip have been retained as well. With Flipkart into the picture, we can definitely hope to see many more additions to the platform with more focus on providing a better user experience. At the same time, the company will also be looking to expand its base in the market of travel aggregators.

When it comes to helping people digitally in the time of Covid-19, Google has tried to make its presence felt in the most helpful way. Now, the search giant is adding another feature for the common people so that they can easily search and find places where they could get the vaccination. Since it is not easy for everyone to search for the location of vaccination and book an appointment, Google is trying to make things a lot easier for them.

The feature will be rolled out both on the Search Engine and Maps, where the user will simply have to type “COVID-19 vaccine location” and it will show all the nearest vaccination centers available near the user. Also, on the left side, the users will get an option of “Where to get it“, clicking on which will reveal the information about all the nearest centers where you can go for the vaccine. It is not the only thing Google has been doing to help people across the world. Google has also pledged that it will be providing 250k vaccination in countries with low to middle levels of income.

At the same time, they will also be funding the pop-up vaccination sites in the US. Google will also be providing an Ads grant on their platform to the government, which will be worth $250 million. It seems like Google is adding a lot of effort during this time of the pandemic, especially after the number of cases has suddenly started to rise again throughout the world.

It would not be the first time that Windows users have started facing lots of issues right after the new update. However, the issue seems to have become a lot more persistent with time and it seems that the Microsoft Windows Team is really having a bad time with them. Recently, some of the Windows 10 users have started facing a lot of issues in the operating system after installing the update KB5001330. Microsoft has released a list of all the updates in the month of April earlier this week.

The list also included the mentioned update and was mandatory as it resolved the issue that was created because of the last update. Now many users are facing the issue where the update cannot be installed on any system. Users are also facing an error code 0x800f0984 while trying to install the update. The issue is very common on two specific devices, which are the Surface Studio 2 and Pro 7. When trying to install the update, it pauses at 20%, then 73%, and when finally it reaches 100% it crashes and fails. The three error codes that the users can see in this scenario are 0x800f081f, 0x800f0984 and 0x800f0922.

Also, if the users are able to install the updates successfully, they are facing multiple performance issues in gaming like frame rate drop, stuttering, and a lot more. Users who had the update installed, are rolling back the system to the previous version to resolve the issue. Microsoft has not made any kind of official statement on the same, but it seems like there is no fix currently to failed installation. However, if the user is facing issues after installation, the only resolution for the same is rollback to the previous version.
