We all know how popular TikTok has been around the world. Although the app has faced ban and block in a lot of different countries, that has not stopped other companies from providing customers with similar offerings. Now, Google has built new tools that are very similar to TikTok and are called Thread. However, the platform is not meant to be used like TikTok, in fact, it is meant to make remote working a lot more efficient. The platform allows the users to send small recorded videos to team members for communicating regarding work.

As per Google, it would work as a great tool for people in work instead of e-mails and text and would also lead to more precise communication. It would also eradicate the need for live video communication and can help work employees across any time zone. Threadit can be used through the Google Chrome browser as a Chrome extension or simply in the browser as third party website. As per the official statement from Google, “Threadit helps you say and show more with a video message than with an email or chat.

It can be used to show each other progress, ask questions, or request feedback without needing to coordinate schedules. It eliminates the need to host virtual meetings for small communications. It also gives users more time to think, do more focused work, and the eventual meetings that do take place are then more efficient.” Now users will be able to record short video messages and stitch them all together into one cohesive message. The video can be shared with people through a simple link.

A recent leak on the internet has spilled the information about another Galaxy unpacked event that might take place in the month of April and the coming months. This time Samsung is going to launch multiple products at once. Recently, Samsung has launched the Galaxy A52 and A 72 on March 17, which is one of their offerings in the mid-range segment. A new alleged mini road map has now surfaced online which suggests some of the upcoming products and their release timeline.

Samsung is all set to hold an event next month and then in the month of June and July. Although nothing official has been shared by Samsung, the release timeline seems to be genuine. As per the timeline, the company could be launching a new computing lineup, mainly the Galaxy Chromebook on April 14, which would be followed by another event in the month of June, which will see the launch of Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. The variant is a lighter version of the Galaxy Tab S7 and is rumored to come with 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 750G SoC.

Samsung will then launch the Samsung Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G in the month of July followed by the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in the FE unpacked event on August 19. This would have generally been followed by the launch of another device in the Note series, but it has been delayed until next year by Samsung. For now, although these launches are not confirmed by Samsung, the timeline does match their original sequence of launches they have been following in the past.

When it comes to Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy Note series has been one of the most popular series among them. Apart from the large screen size, the most unique feature for the smartphone was the stylus that provided a lot of functionality as well. Although the stylus has now also been offered in the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, it still remains the identity of the Note series. If you have been using the Galaxy Note series or have been waiting for a new offering from Samsung, then this might hit you as bad news. The tech giant has confirmed that they will not be making any new launches for the Note series this year.

In Samsung’s 52nd annual shareholder’s meeting, DJ Koh, co-CEO of Samsung’s IT and Mobile Communications division has confirmed that it will not be possible for the company to release the Note series this year under the Galaxy S21 series. The major reason behind this has been stated as the shortage of chips and clash with the existing product. Although, he also confirmed that this should not be taken as the discontinuation of the series as the company will be offering more products under it next year.

As per their official statement, “Galaxy Note is an important product category to us that has been continuously loved by consumers for the past 10 years in the global market. The S Pen user experience is an area that Samsung’s mobile business has worked harder on than anybody else. Their launch timing may be different, but we will make sure that we don’t let Galaxy Note consumers down.” In the meanwhile, Samsung will be launching two new smartphones in the series today in both 4G and 5G variants.
