Sony planning for a big re-stock of Playstation 5

A recent restock of the Playstation 5 left consumers with disappointment as the latest restock went out of stock almost immediately. The restock of Playstation 5 on the Amazon India website recently, when out of stock in just 5 minutes, leaving the customers only with the option of searching it in the offline stores. However, as per the latest news that has been reported from some of the most trusted sources for the Playstation 5, Sony is going to make one of the biggest restocks on the console this week. 

It means that consumers will have a better chance of grabbing a Playstation 5 for themselves. As per the information from Jake Randall, Sony is planning for a big restock of the console where each store will get at least 20 disc versions of the Playstation console every week. It’s not just a single market or a single country. Sony will be trying to do the same in multiple countries where the PlayStation 5 has been launched. Starting from this week, Sony will be adding more numbers to the re-stocking procedure and will make sure that more consumers are able to get their hands on one.

Playstation 5 has had a serious re-stocking issue ever since its launch due to the high demand and lack of supply from the supply chains for the component of the new console. However, since the supply chain for the component has been improving, so is the restocking of the new console. It is expected that within a couple of months, Sony will be able to restock the PlayStation inventory regularly.

Redmi to launch laptops in the Indian market on August 3

Redmi is one of the most popular and affordable brands when it comes to the smartphone segment. It is a sub-brand of Xiaomi which not only provides smartphones with complete value for money but also many other features which are available in smartphones at a higher price. While the company has already made its name and customer base in the smartphone segment, they are now planning to launch their first series of laptops. The company is planning to launch the Redmi series of laptops in the Indian market on August 3, which has been officially confirmed over Twitter. 

The announcement was made by the Global VP of Xiaomi, and MD of Xiaomi India Manu Jain. The event on August 3 will be called Super Start Life and the laptops will be officially made available on Flipkart. There is not much information about the hardware specifications that the laptop will come with. However, the way the company has been setting up expectations in the smartphone segment, the same strategy can be used in the laptop segment as well. We can be assured that the company will be providing a great hardware configuration for the same at a much lower price than its competitors. 

The company has already launched the RedmiBook Pro 15 and Pro 14 in the Chinese market which was powered by 11th generation Intel processors. It can be the case that the same laptops are also launched in the Indian market. It was also speculated that the company could be launching a much cheaper and lighter version of the same laptops. However, since there is no confirmed detail about the same, it cannot be said for sure. We will have to wait for the official reveal of the laptop on August 3 before we get the real details. The event can be seen on the official social media handles of the company.

Nothing Ear 1 will launch today in an online event

Nothing is going to launch their Nothing Ear 1 TWS globally today at 6:30 PM IST. The company is run by Carl Pei, who was the Co-Founder of OnePlus. Nothing has already been confirmed that this is one of the first products that the company will be offering in the market. The Nothing Ear 1 will be launched at a different price tag in different countries. The confirmed price tag for the TWS in India is Rs 5,999. What has already been confirmed by the company is that the earphones will come with an Active Noise cancellation feature along with a completely transparent design. 

The event will start at 6:30 PM IST and can be viewed on the official social media handles and also through the Unbox Therapy Youtube channel. The earphones will also come with three microphones which will not only help to capture the voice but also to reduce the background noise. Other details of the earphones from Carl Pei have confirmed that the earphones will have a battery life of 24 hours and can be extended up to 36 hours if the ANC feature has been turned off. 

As per him, the earphones will provide the users with the same kind of quality they expect from Apple Airpods Pro, minus the price. Since this is the first product from Nothing, a lot is expected from the company in terms of quality and performance from the earphones. Carl Pei has already mentioned that he will be launching a lot of new products in the different segments in the future.

Nokia launches three new smartphones, Nokia XR20, Nokia C30, and Nokia 6310(2021 edition)

A few days back, leaks about the Nokia XR20 were seen online and now the company has launched the smartphone in the market. Apart from these two, Nokia has also launched two other smartphones which are the Nokia C30 and Nokia 6310(2021). The company has also launched its new series of audio devices which are the new TWS earbuds, mono headset, and the wired headphones. The Nokia XR20 comes at a price tag of EUR 499 and has a 4GB/64GB configuration. Another variant of the smartphone comes in a 6GB/128GB configuration but there is no information on the price of this variant. 

The phone comes in two different colors of Granite and Ultra Blue. It will run on Android 11 and has a 6.67-inch full HD+ screen with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone runs on Snapdragon 480 and has a 48MP camera on the rear as the primary sensor. The biggest feature of the phone is the sturdy build quality. Nokia claims that it can withstand a drop of 1.8 meters and can remain underwater for one hour. It is also IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. It comes with a 4,630mAh battery with 18W fast charging. 

On the other hand, the Nokia C30 has been launched with a price tag of EUR99 and comes in 3 variants of 2GB/32GB, 3GB/32GB, and 3GB/64GB. The phone comes with a 6.82-inch screen and runs on octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC. It has a dual rear camera with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 6,000 mAh battery along with 10W wired charging capabilities. The Nokia 6310(2021) has been launched at an affordable price of EUR40. The phone comes with 16MB RAM and 8MB storage. It is powered by Unisoc 6531F SoC and comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support along with WiFi. The phone only supports 2G connectivity and comes with a 1,150 mAh battery which can provide weeks of usage as per the company. 

Is Krafton working on a Battlegrounds Mobile India lite version

Battlegrounds mobile India was launched a few weeks back and has already had millions of downloads, although the game is still not available on iOS. The company made it clear that they will be launching the iOS version of the game soon as well. However, there is another news online which might come true for BGMI fans that do not have a high-end phone and like playing games on a phone with a low-end configuration. It is suspected that the company will be launching the BGMI Lite edition in the months to come. 

PUBG Lite version was also very similar and was launched for smartphones that do not support high-end graphics. As per the latest report, Krafton is currently working on BGMI and making improvements on the same. However, they might be working on BGMI lite at the same time. If that comes true, users with affordable smartphones will also be able to play the game in the same way. There are no details about the Lite version for now, but it is surely under development now. 

The company is also organizing a lot of new tournaments of games ever since the new launch and will make sure that they get enough hype for the game before the iOS version of the game is launched. It is expected that the iOS version of BGMI will be launched by the end of August 2021. Krafton has confirmed a release of the same soon but has not mentioned any confirmed date.

Leaked images of Z fold 3 case shows SPen support

Samsung will soon be launching the new generation of their foldable smartphones in the market. Before it happens a lot of new leaks about them have already made their way on the internet, and we are still getting some fresh leaks for the same. As per details that have been leaked by @evleaks, both the foldable smartphones from Samsung which are Z fold 3 and Z flip 3, will come with a water-resistant rating and certification. 

There have been leaks in the past which confirmed that both the smartphones will have an IPX8 rating for water resistance and now it is almost confirmed with the latest leak. The same user also leaked some of the specifications of the smartphone which confirmed that the Z Flip3 will have a 6.7-inch display and 1.9-inch display on the external cover. It will also come with a 12MP main camera and a 10MP selfie camera. While the Z Fold3 will come with a 7.6-inch screen and a 6.2-inch external display. The phone will also get a 10MP selfie camera and triple camera setup where all the three cameras will be 12MP. 

It has also been confirmed that the phone will come with the support for SPen which will come with two options of the Pro and Fold Editions. Also, certain cases for the smartphone have also been leaked online which confirms that the phone will come with the SPen. The case came with space to store the SPen Behind the hinge of the Z Fold3. The renders also show that the Spen has a functional button and the case is a flip case that covers the external display. 

Lenovo launches Legion 5 Pro gaming laptops in India

Lenovo has just launched a new gaming laptop in the Indian market Legion 5 Pro. This gaming laptop is not only dedicated to gamers but also provides great overall performance with powerful specs. The laptop is powered using the AMD Ryzen 5000 H-series processors and has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU for intense and high-quality graphics while gaming. The laptop has been launched in the Indian market with two variants. The variant with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 16GB has been priced at Rs 1,39,990 and the variant with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, 32GB has been priced at Rs 1,59,990. 

Both the variants are now available for pre-order on the Amazon India website and Lenovo’s online portal. The laptop comes with Ryzen 7 5800H processor and will also give the gamers a huge battery life of 8.1 hours. The GPU comes with Nvidia’s 2nd Generation Ray Tracing, 3rd Generation AI Tensor Cores which will make the GPU performance a lot better with much more improved graphics and a higher frame rate while gaming. 

Since it is dedicated to gaming, it also comes with Lenovo’s Coldfront 3.0 thermal management technology, which will provide efficient thermals to the laptop. It has a 16-inch QHD IPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate and the least response time of 3ms. The laptop also supports Dolby Vision, and HDR 400. The keyboard would be a great highlight as it comes with TrueStrike Keyboard which has soft landing keys and four-zone RGB lighting. It also provides 360-degree audio along with background noise suppression.

GTA 6 might be the last game of its franchise

It might sound like a surprise but GTA 6 could be the last game of its franchise. GTA has been one of the most popular gaming franchises to date, regardless of the platform it has been played on. The leaks for GTA 6 have been coming after a regular period of time but the developer Rockstar has been able to completely hide the details about the game development. However, Rockstar has confirmed that the game is still in the early stages of its development and will not be launched until 2025. 

The last version of GTA, which is the GTA 5 was launched in the year 2013 and it will be a total of 12-year duration before which the next GTA 6 will be launched. The game GTA 5 is still very popular and the developers have been trying to add new things and features to play on. As per the developer, GTA 6 will not have the same design as the previous version, infact, the game will constantly be updated and new elements will be added to it year after year which will give the player something new to play with.

It would make sure that that game will remain fresh with new components to play with even years after its launch. GTA 5 is a great example of the same as it still continues to be played by gamers the world over. Netflix to launch gaming services by next year

A few weeks back it was reported that Netflix will be the next big company that will be entering the online gaming market. The news seems to be true and the company could soon be expanding its reach in ad-free gaming with no extra cost to the subscription. Yes, the users will be able to enjoy games without paying anything extra apart from their regular Netflix subscription. The company has made it clear that it will be entering the gaming market by next year and will join the likes of Apple Arcade, Stadio, and many others who are trying to make it big in cloud gaming. 

News also came in that Netflix has already hired former Electronic Arts and Facebook executive Mike Verdu for a certain game project. Both of them will be able to bring more experience and games which are similar to what we can find from EA and Facebook on their online platform. The gaming functionality will be made available to both smartphones and tablets. It is also reported that Netflix might be trying to create games based on some of their popular series and movies. 

Netflix has also confirmed that it will be observing the audience and will add further content based on their feedback. The thing that remains suspense is whether the company will also offer console games. Netflix has been prioritizing mobile games, for now, however, there is a chance that they might go out for console-based games later. 

Apple to use titanium frames for iPhone 14 and more

iPhone 13 is making a lot of news in the market much before its launch and now news of iPhone 14 has also started coming in. According to the report, one of the biggest changes that will appear in the iPhone 14 series in 2022 will be the Titanium body. As per the details, Foxconn will be the exclusive manufacturer for Apple who will be making Titanium frames for iPhone 14. For now, Apple is using aluminum and stainless steel frames in the iPhone and the same titanium frames are being used for Apple Watch 6 series and Apple Cards. 

However, when compared, titanium seems to be much stronger and is more resistant to damage, scratches, and bending. It is one of the major reasons why the company would be moving to titanium frames. It will make the iPhones much lighter and resistant to damages and corrosion. There have also been patents from Apple in recent times, which hints towards an oxide coating that will also make titanium resistant to any kind of fingerprints and dust is settled on the phone. 

The patent also outlines the blasting, etching, and chemical process through which a more attractive finish can be given to the device. It has also been reported that Apple might discontinue the mini version of the iPhone in the year 2022 with the iPhone 14. All of these details are still not confirmed by Apple in any way, but it is almost certain that the company will be moving to titanium frames in the future.
