It’s just been a few days since the launch of the all-new Samsung Galaxy S20 series and news has started to arrive about the Samsung Galaxy S21, which will arrive with the all-new Exynos 2100 processor. The phone is expected to launch anytime in the first quarter of 2021. The device was recently spotted on Geekbench and it revealed a lot of information about the new smartphone. The Geekbach scores revealed that the new phone will be coming with the Exynos 2100 processor, which was certainly not expected at this time.

The device that was used for the GeekBench rating also had 8GB of RAM. The product code for the phone was SM-G996B, which makes it look like a Europeana version of the phone. The phone was expected in the first quarter of next year, but the chipset that was expected on the phone was Exynos 1000 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 for the non-Asian market. However, it seems that recent studies that made Samsung chipset perform better than Qualcomm, made them think that using their own chipsets would probably be a better option.

The Geekbench scores also showed that the phone will have a 4,800 mAh battery, which will be more than what the company has provided in Galaxy S20+. Other things that are expected from this phone is the improved camera quality and better sensors along with better support for S-Pen. We may see under the screen camera which has been a new feature that has developed this year.

You might have invested in cryptocurrency and have used online exchanges a lot of times in the past. However, if you are using Kucoin as the cryptocurrency exchange for dealing with cryptocurrency investment, then this might be bad news for you. Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin disclosed today that their exchange has been hacked. They also confirmed that the threat actor breached its systems and emptied its hot wallets of all funds. Hot wallets are actually crypto management application that is connected to the network and is used for temporary storage system assets that are currently being exchanged on the platform, and they are used to power conversion operations and funds transfers.

After some very large withdrawals were made on their platform, Kucoin started checking their hot wallets on September 26. Once the security audit was conducted, the missing funds were discovered and confirmed that the hacker was able to steal Bitcoin assets, ERC-20-based tokens, along with other types of tokens. The estimated loss to Kucoin can be estimated at around $150 million, which is based on Etherium address that was used to steal the fund.

The Kucoin CEO Johnnny Lyu is scheduled for a live stream at 12:30 (UTC+8), September 26, 2020, which will provide the customers all the necessary information about the security breach. The company has also confirmed that any customer has lost funds in the hot wallet, the company will be reimbursing them from their cold wallets which are the permanent storage of crypto coins on the server. Till the time investigation is going on, the platform has been closed for dealing.

New Changes in Play Store policies pushes 30% revenue sharing model

Recently, Google has made some changes to the Google Play Store policies and have made sure that the developers are not able to skip the 30% cut from the in-app purchases. The company is making sure to push the developers harder for in-app purchases cut off worth 30% to Google. Companies like Netflix, Spotify, Match Group, and Epic Games, have circumvented this move by Google. Google Play Store is expected to change the guidelines and policies by the next week after which the developers will be bound to provide a 30% cut to Google using their payment platform. After the new policies, any new n-app content downloads, game upgrades, and subscriptions will get Google a 30% cut as commission.

Currently, many applications like Netflix and Spotify apps prompt consumers to pay using a credit card, rather than their Play app store account, bypassing Google’s fee. However, with the new policy, they will not be able to use a credit card for payment of subscriptions. Most of the major app developers are currently not in sync with the update that will be applied next week.

Google’s official statement says that “For developers who choose to distribute their apps on Google Play, our policy has always required them to use Play’s billing system if they offer in-app purchases of digital goods. We are always working with our partners to clarify these policies and ensure they are applied equitably and reasonably”. It is a similar kind of issue where users are very facing the App store and blaming them for monopoly.

AMD Ryzen series has been one of their best chipsets and has been able to provide some of the most power-packed performance when compared to Intel’s Tiger Lake chipsets. As per the recent details, the AMD Ryzen 5000 low-power APUs for laptops will have Navi 2 (RDNA 2) integrated graphics and support for DDR5/LPDDR5 memory. The details given by Phoronix stated that a Linux kernel patch was spotted that clearly shows that Ryzen 5000 mobile APUs will have RDNA 2 graphics, and be built on Zen 2, with LPDDR5 support. It will also add the VCN 3.0 support.

The presence of Linux does state that we will be looking at the Ryzen 5000 chipset much sooner than expected and it can be as soon as later this year. Earlier it was expected that the chipset will be launched later next year, during the first quarter. The chipset is expected to give a very tough fight to the Intel’s Tiger Lake chipset and will be visible in Laptops before 2020 ends. One of the key features that Ryzen 500 will provide to the users is LPDDR5 support, which is still not available in the Tiger Lake chipset from Intel.

The Ryzen 5000 chipset will be a great addition to laptops that have been dedicatedly designed for gaming platforms and heavy usage. There is no word as to which laptop will show the chipset for the very first time, but it will be launching in the month of October for public offering.

Amazon has been a hub for companies to launch their new devices and gadgets and get them on pre-order. Similar to other companies the new Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 will also be available for preorder on Amazon. Amazon has been much better at handling pre-order than its competitors and has also been one of the best choices for many users. Now for all the users who have made the pre-order for the next generation console may have received the following e-mail that does not seem to be good news.

The email mentions that “We’re contacting you about your order of (PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X/S) to let you know in advance that you may not receive this item on the day it is released due to high demand. We are making every effort with the supplier to procure more inventory. We will provide additional updates once more information becomes available.” It is not uncommon for the online retailers to miss the launch day delivery, however, it seems that the pandemic might be affecting their delivery and sales as to what they used to do before.

Also, since the supply chain for any products has been severely affected due to the pandemic, it might be a reason behind the delay. Amazon has confirmed that it will soon send an email to the customer stating as to when the delivery will be sent to them, but they have not specified any timeline for that. The only thing the users can do right now is to wait as standing in a queue outside the shop is not an option anymore.

However, as per the details that smartphones will not be available to the customer for either pre-order or sale immediately. The Google Pixel fans will have to wait a little longer for Google to make announcements about the availability of devices for sale. As per details. both the smartphones will be launched in black color, with a Subtle Sage color arriving later in the year. It might be possible that the devices are made available to the consumer in either late October or mid of November this year.

Due to the pandemic, there have been a lot of delays in the components of previous Pixel devices that were launched earlier to the pandemic. As the supply chain still remains affected, it has caused this delay. Google has also stated that the wait will be worth their time and the Pixel devices will have all the features that people were expecting from the device. However, this time the device will be slimmer, lighter, and much more affordable than before.

Xiaomi launched the first smartwatch last year called the Mi Watch in China, after which they also launched the Mi Watch Color. Now almost after a year, the company is all set to launch its new smartwatch for the global market and is said to be certified by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The front screen also has a waterdrop notch with a 32-megapixel sensor having features like Portrait Mode, Super Night Selfie, Selfie Fill Light, and a Video Face Beauty for the front-facing camera.

In terms of battery, it will be powered by a 4,100 mAh and a 33W fast charging technology. The phone has been priced roughly at MYR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 21,300), which does seem to be a bit more considering the outdated processor the company is using in it.
