Realme’s last series for the mid-range category was Realme 7 and it was a great success for the company as well. Now Realme is all set to launch the Realme 8 series in the future and they have already started giving a glimpse of what they will be offering to the customers. CEO Madhav Sheth has started teasing the upcoming lineup via Twitter. The company has already revealed the camera details on Twitter claiming that the phone will have a 108MP camera sensor, which is very rare for a phone under this budget.

The tweet posted by him mentions, “Do you guys know what 108 stands for?” The image hints towards a quad-camera module and it could be speculated looking at the image that the Realme 8 series will have a quad-camera setup on the rear, including a 108MP primary sensor. But it does seem that the 108MP sensor will only be available to the higher variants of the Realme 8 series. The company has not yet confirmed the same and there is no confirmation as to which model in the series will specifically have the 108MP sensor.

As per the launch they have done in the past, it is speculated that the Realme 8 Pro will be the variant that will end up with this camera sensor. Apart from the camera, the company has been very quiet about the phone. However, we can expect that the company will be revealing a lot more about the phone on their social handles before its official launch.

Now all three models have been listed on the Indian website of Samsung which also includes a 5G version of A32. Netflix is currently focused on bringing more AI-powered features to their platform which makes suggestions, notifications, and other features on the app more user-friendly. Among those features, Netflix is all set to add a new feature where it will automatically download show recommendations and movies based on viewer history. The new feature is called Downloads for You and has been made available for users globally on Android smartphones. The feature will also be rolled out on iOS devices very soon. The feature will not be activated automatically and will require the users to opt-in.

The feature can be activated from the downloads tab in the app and one needs to set up the space limit from 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB depending on the space you want the app to use. The more space, the more you will have Netflix recommendations downloaded. Some of the downloads might be limited due to licensing restrictions. The feature is a great addition for people who like watching the content on Netflix in offline mode. Netflix also offered a similar feature for Netflix users in 2018, which automatically deletes downloaded episodes after they’ve been watched.

Netflix is currently working on many more features for viewers who like to watch the content in both offline and online mode. Similarly, they have been using AI technology to make their recommendation system a lot better, which would automatically suggest the users with new content when they are done watching the previous one. You can simply update the version of your Netflix app and the features will be available to use.

The screen size of the phone is 6.2″ FHD+ OLED with thin bezels and forehead but a more significant chin. The renders also show a front-facing camera that has been placed on the left side of the display panel in a hole punch cutout.

The rear comes with a dual-camera display, which seems to be very similar to what one can find on Pixel 4a 5G. The top has the 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers and the fingerprint sensor is on the rear of the smartphone. This is currently all the details that have been leaked about the phone, but more is expected to leak out in the coming few weeks.

Samsung smartwatch was among the very first ones to launch ever since the trend of smartwatches started in the market. Ever since that time, smartwatches have evolved in a large way, trying to add as many features and making them as feature-rich as possible. One of the most popular features currently in smartwatches has to be ECG and blood oxygen monitoring, something that both Samsung and Apple have pioneered in the smartwatch category.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch3 and Watch Active2 both have hardware support for ECG monitoring, but it is taking a long time to show up for everyone since the feature has to be approved by each country’s health agencies. The feature was previously only exclusive to South Korea till September 2020 and later it was enabled in the US as well. Now the company is all set to offer the same ECG monitoring feature in 32 more countries. The reports have been leaked by SamMobile which claims that the Samsung Health Monitor app, which is required for blood pressure and ECG measurement monitoring, is now officially available from the Galaxy Store in 32 more regions.

Most of the countries on the list are from Europe and a few from the Middle Eastern and Asian regions. The list of countries that have been added in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. The only requirement to use this feature is a Samsung Phone that has been paired with Samsung Watch.

The CES event that was held last month revealed a lot of new technologies and devices that the companies have been planning to roll out in the future. One of the highlighted technologies was the rollable screen that was unveiled by LG. The company claimed that they have been working on a new type of smartphone that will come with the rollable screen technology. The phone was expected to come later this year, however, it now seems that the phone has been delayed and might be launched next year or even further. The report was leaked by Yonhap News who is claiming that the project has been currently put on hold.

It is not a surprise as a month back information started to leak out in the market that LG is looking to sell off their smartphone business as it has not received the expected response and sales from the customers. The company has not given any type of official statement on the same but it is clear that the potential downfall of sales is the major reason behind it.

It has also been reported that due to this LG’s suppliers might be seeking compensation for the work that they have already done on the project. The rollable screen project could have a serious market for LG and could have been a very good option for premium smartphones in the market. However, it seems that we will not be looking at the smartphone concept coming into reality now unless there are changes in the plan of selling their smartphone unit.

Spotify has recently announced that they will be launching the new Spotify HiFi services very soon which will finally enable streaming lossless audio. The company had been working on new features for the past few months which would increase the clarity of the audio, and now they have finally unveiled the HiFi mode which will enable “CD-quality” audio on existing devices and Spotify Connect-enabled speakers.

The company has not confirmed any details on the bit rate, and codec for HiFi mode, but the company currently used Ogg Vorbis on desktop and mobile, and AAC for the web player. Spotify has been testing the feature with select users being selected for A/B testing since early 2017. It has now joined the ranks of other competitors in the market which provides lossless audio. Tidal, Amazon, Quobuz, and Deezer have been some companies that have already been providing the option to the users.

YouTube video

Now, these companies have been providing lossless audio which exceeds the technical limit of an audio CD, which does not give Spotify an advantage as they will only be limited currently to CD audio quality. The company has already confirmed that the new feature will not be available to all the users immediately after the launch. The feature will be rolling out in select markets and slowly to other markets later this year. The company will be working on improving and making the feature much better before it is launched in the other market as there are still only a few counties where the lossless audio feature has been offered.
