When it comes to dedicated gaming smartphones, Asus Rog’s phone has been one of the most successful smartphones in the market. Due to this Asus has made a good name in the market for gaming smartphones. Now the news is coming in that even Qualcomm can launch their own gaming smartphone in association with Asus. We already know that Qualcomm is going to launch an event on December 1-2, which will also see the launch of the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset, which will be the next premium flagship chipset.

Now it has been reported that the same event could also see the launch of a new gaming phone from Qualcomm. The phone will be co-developed by Asus, but there are no details about the phone or what its specs would be. Since Asus has more experience in creating a pure gaming phone, the association makes a lot more sense. Asus will be able to bring in all the gaming elements of the smartphone to Qualcomm, while Qualcomm will be able to provide them with their best processors.

When it comes to GPU, which is the most important part of a gaming phone, it seems that Qualcomm will be using the Mali GPU instead of Nvidia ARM or the Adrena series of GPU. It will be amazing to see how the Mali-powered gaming phone competes with the Adreno series of GPU. In the meanwhile, we can only wait for the leaks or information about the phone and the powerful specs that it would bring in for gamers.

As per the latest report, Alphabet Inc’s Google is facing a new antitrust case in India, where Google is alleged to have abused its Android Operating system’s position in the smart TV market. This will be the fourth antitrust case against Google in India, where it is facing public criticism from local startups for change in policies and company charges. It is not the only problem the company is facing right now. Google is also facing an antitrust case in the US and even China is thinking about filing an antitrust probe against Google for dominance of its Android operating system to stifle competition.

Google has obviously denied any of these allegations. The Competition Commission of India has been looking into the antitrust case since June and has been checking on the allegation that Google engages in anti-competitive practices which have created a problem for firms in creating a better and modified version of Android for smart TV. The same thing has also been done with Amazon’s Fire TV operating system and the company wants the same freedom to work on the Android operating system for smart TV.

The case has been filed by two Indian antitrust lawyers, Kshitiz Arya and Purushottam Anand. The CCI has asked Google to provide a written explanation of the allegation, where the company has requested more time to do so. The case also alleges Google’s agreement with Xiaomi and TCL which stops the companies from using the Android Operating system’s modified version on different devices. If any allegation is found to be true then the case could go for a wider investigation.

Slack is one of the most interactive platforms when it comes to chatting with your professional teammates. The platform helps you to chat with your teammates and clients in order to do professional work. However, when you regularly chat with a client or employee, you need to send some important details through email as well, or maybe even schedule a meeting with them. In that case, a person had to go outside slack and do these activities.

However, Slack has now added a feature where these things could easily be done on the same platform, which leaves Slack. The new feature is called Connect DMs that will let you chat with somebody outside your organization. It is very similar to an email but I chat form. Slack Connect was an initiative by Slack in June this year, which provided a way for multiple companies to a joint channel on their platform. The company confirms that the new feature is currently used by more than 56,000 organizations.

Connect DM is actually an extension of that feature. You simply need to generate a ling for starting the Connect DM feature and send it to one of your contacts. Once the invitation is accepted, you can chat with them directly on Slack. You will also have to revoke the invitation at any time. Also, your admin will have the option of adding the contact to a trusted contact list without any approvals. Slack will now also provide a tick mark for some organizations on slacks, similar to verified tick on Twitter.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 has been one of the most highlighted phones of the year ever since its launch. Also, one of the most interesting features of the phone that Samsung will be adding to the device is to customize the hinge with custom colors, something which has never been done before. The feature has started making news as soon as a patent filed by WIPO came into existence. This indicates that Samsung might have planned a lot more for version 3 of Galaxy Fold.

What the patent exactly reveals is that a light strip will be added to the hinge, which will be illuminated in full RGB color. It will have six LEDs providing lights as well as a layer to diffuse the light and make it look smooth. Since the patent shows the design to have multiple LEDs, it might give the users an option to customize it and select out of various color options available in the LED strip. The light strip will act as a notification light and will be a much bigger one. The light is supposed to make the phone easier to spot when compared to the always-on display.

We can expect the feature to show in version 3 of the new Galaxy fold next year, where the company also promised to launch a lite version of these flagships as well. No matter which features they add to the Fold series, this LED light would surely make the phone stand out from the rest.

Since Smartphones have become a very important part of our life, it becomes very important to know how we respond to them. It is why researchers have been studying eye movement using eye-tracking technology to discover how mobile apps grab our attention. The visual attention to the mobile app design shows that the component in the app that is larger and brighter gets most of the attention from our eye. The research was done by Aalto University researchers to see the common understanding of what attracts visual attention on the screen.

It is one of a kind and the first study to understand this behavior. As per the official statement of the university, “Apps appear differently on a phone than on a desktop computer or browser: they’re on a smaller screen which simply fits fewer elements and, instead of a horizontal view, mobile devices typically use a vertical layout. Until now it was unclear how these factors would affect how apps actually attract our eyes.

Researchers used a large set of smartphones and other devices and eye-tracking software to see how users look at the screenshot of the mobile apps for Android and iOS. Earlier it was thought that larger and brighter things get the most of the attention and time of the eye.

However, it was found that bright colors didn’t affect how people fixate on app details. One possible reason is that the mobile interface itself is full of glossy and colorful elements, so everything on the screen can potentially catch your attention, which is a part of the design. Also, text plays a very important role in playing information through the eyes. It was also found that images drew more attention and faces too attracted more attention.
