The new smartphones will come with a few notable upgrades in a better designed and slimmer package. The phone will be the first in the market to use the black frame insertion, which reduces motion blur. A battery of 4000 mAh will ensure a full day of working with 18W fast charging out of the box. However, the users will have the option to purchase a 21W fast charger as an additional accessory. Other features of the phone include a 3.5mm jack, Gorilla Glass 6, IP68 water, and dust resistance rating, etc. It will be available for preorder in the US on September 29 and will retail in Europe for €900.

It seems that OnePlus is working on multiple new smartphones at one time. There was news of the company working on two new smartphones earlier. One was said to be a $200 phone and others would perfectly sit between the most affordable and One Plus Nord. Now it seems that the company is working on a third handset named as OnePlus Nord N10 5G. The phone would be launched later this year and is expected to be made available at a price of $400, which fits just above the price tag of OnePlus Nord.

This could also be the model that will be introduced in the US market as the OnePlus Nord was not launched in the US. The new phone will be expected to ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC, along with a 6.59-inch screen, which will be a full HD+ display and will support a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. It is also expected that the company might launch a 256 GB variant too.

Another interesting fact about the phone is that it will be the first phone from the company to feature a 64MP camera setup at the rear, with a quad-camera setup. If rumors are true, the phone will be launched after the launch event of OnePlus 8T and will be a US market launch and will later be made available to other markets as well. It seems that OnePlus is planning to keep one of its smartphones in each mobile category to cover more market share.

Google Meet has been one of the go-to platforms during the pandemic for high-quality video calls and Google has been trying to integrate the platform with a lot more features to make it a one-stop platform for all the professional needs. In the view of improving it, Google has now added a new feature to Google Meet, which all users would really appreciate while working at home. The new feature allows the users to blur the background while being on the video call. It does happen very often that you need to be on a professional video call and there is very little time when it comes to removing the mess behind you.

In such cases, you can simply blur the background behind you and in real-time while attending the video call. The feature was unveiled in the blog post by the company, where they said that “will intelligently separate you from the background”, blurring the background but still keeping you clear and in focus. Just like the ability to filter out disruptive noise, the new functionality is part of Google‘s efforts to limit distractions during conference calls. The feature will not be turned on by default in a video call and can be selected by clicking on the “more” option during a video call, which I represented by the three dots and select the “blurred background” option.

The feature can be used both during the video call or before the video call. However, the company did mention that since the functionality uses more resources, it can actually slow down the system. Therefore, in case you are using other features, make sure to turn off the background blur feature.

The phone is eagerly expected from smartphone users in India as Poco is known to provide some of the best specs in the business at very competitive prices. Alexa is one of the most popular digital voice assistants in the world, with direct competition to Google Alexa and Apple’s Siri. What differentiates it from others is the voice they use for the assistant. Since Amazon Alexa is very popular in India, they are planning to launch a separate version for the country, which will include the voice of a Bollywood celebrity as the Alexa virtual assistant. Using the voice of high profile Bollywood celebrities will be exclusive to the Indian market.

It is rumored that starting from next year, Amazon will be augmenting the voice of Amitabh Bachan, who is one of the most popular and prolific actors in Indian cinema. Amazon did mention that the Indian market is of great importance when it comes to the growth of the company and India has a strong smartphone adoption and the growing purchasing power of its large population, which makes it the best place for the expansion of services. When it comes to the voice of Amitabh Bachan, the voice has been unique and popular over many years in India. Also, it is one voice that everyone can easily relate to and recognize immediately.

The voice will be available as an extra purchase for exiting Amazon Alexa users and even new ones. There is no clarity yet on how much Amazon will be charging for this or will it be a part of the global Alexa product. However, it can be possible that Amazon might use the same technique in other parts of the world, where they can use the voice of popular celebrities from the world to mimic the voice of Alexa’s assistant.
