Apple to release TVOS 14.2 update for the users.

Apple has been working on the new TVOS 14.2 for a while now and has finally released the update. It’s not just Apple TV, the company has released the update for iOS 14.2, iPadOS 14.2, TVOS 14.2, and WatchOS 7.2, which will not only resolve the bugs that were identified in the previous OS update but will also bring a lot of optimizations and features as well. As per the beta testers of the TVOS 14.2, no new features seemed to be present in the beta version of the update, so it can be assumed that the final version of the update will also bring in fixes and optimization. Rumors and details for the OnePlus watch have once again gained momentum after a short break. Earlier it was reported that the watch has been delayed for an indefinite period of time. However, after the image leaks for the wrist strap for the OnePlus watch, it seemed like things are back on track for the company and they might soon launch the watch for the users. Now as per the latest details, the watch will soon be hitting the market, but will not be running Google’s Wear OS platform. 

The information was provided by Max J, a tipster who provides all the details about OnePlus. He claims that Wear OS will not be used by OnePlus and it might be possible that they are creating an entirely new platform for their watch which will not only provide some new features but a completely new OS experience. It severely brings a question on the relationship between OnePlus and Google as most of the companies that have introduced a smartwatch are using Google Wear OS.

There is currently no kind of information or details about any kind of OS development that OnePlus might be using for their watch. The watch will still be integrating and pairing well with the Android smartphones from OnePlus and it would be interesting to see the kind of approach OnePlus take on their smartwatch. Samsung will be adding laser autofocus to Galaxy S21 camera setup.

When it comes to camera technology, Samsung has been improving it every year with the new range of Galaxy series. This time, it has been rumored that the Galaxy S21 series will bring even more improvements to the Smasng’s camera setup. The reports suggest that although the S21 series will continue to use the same 108 MP camera on the smartphone, it will be upgraded with new features. It is rumored that the company will be skipping the ToF (time-of-flight) camera and will include laser autofocus instead of that. 

The feature will employ a small laser emitter positioned on the back of the smartphone, near the camera lens. It is also rumored that the company might use an HM3 sensor, single-pixel at 0.8um, laser autofocus with a 108MP camera. It would also use  ISOCELL HM3 that is 12 percent brighter than ISOCELL Bright HM1, that was used in the S20 series, launched this year.  The ISOCELL HM3 would not only improve the image quality but will also allow taking much better pictures in a dark environment or low light conditions. It would also allow the camera to capture night photos much faster.

The S21 series will definitely bring major camera improvement to the Samsung range of smartphones. Other details of the phone also confirm the addition of a 5,000mAh battery along with 65W fast charging support. Apart from that, no other details have been confirmed about the phone by the company and it is expected to launch in the month of January next year.

They launched Infinix Smart 4 in the same range for people to get a better smartphone at a lower price range. The phone will now be available for sale today on Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart from 12PM IST. The phone has currently been launched at a price tag of Rs 6,999 for the 2GB/32GB variant and is the only option available for the users. When it comes to the features, the phone has a 6.82-inch HD+ (1640 x 720 pixels) Oncell IPS display with a Dot Notch design. The phone has been powered by Mediatek Helio A22 SoC and comes with an expandable memory slot using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 10 Go edition out of the box, to provide better performance at low hardware configuration.

The phone also comes with a dual rear camera setup which includes a 13MP primary shooter and a depth sensor. In the front, the phones have an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. It has a 6,000mAh battery and it comes with 10W fast charging support, which still might take a lot of time to charge the battery. When it comes to connectivity options, it supports 4G VoLTE and has all the basic connectivity options as well like Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, MIcro-USB connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11, and a 3.5 mm Jack.

Krafton and Microsoft get together to bring PUBG on Azure.

Microsoft and Krafton had made an announcement today that PUBG Mobile and system game will be coming to Azure. As per the official statement from Microsoft, “Krafton [is] working with Microsoft Azure to host its portfolio of multiplatform products, including PUBG Corporation’s wildly popular battle royale, PUBG on PC and consoles and PUBG Mobile.

They’re working together to ensure personal data protection through Azure and to ensure that privacy rights are respected, and relevant software will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.” One of the major reasons for choosing Azure was personal data protection, which Krafton, the parent company of PUBG has been stressing upon. Also Azure already has some of the best multiplayer games in the market which have the best security for players’ data and also offer a comprehensive set of compliance features.

As per them, Azure already provides a lot of security features for protecting the user’s data and both the companies will further work on it to create a specific verification process for PUBGon Azure. AMD has always been working on producing CPUs that could overperform Intel processors on any given day. With the launch of some powerful chipsets, the company has slowly been acquiring a large amount of market share from Intel and has been focusing more especially on gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. The company recently launched the Ryzen 5000 series desktop CPUs this week, which was immediately sold out on all the major retailers. 

Two of the major CPUs to go out of stock in the series are Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 9 5950X. When compared to Intel’s Core i9-10900K, both the processors provided a very strong performance on a single core. When checked on multiple cores, the processors even provided much faster performance and productivity. As per the company, the processors are great for people who like to overclock their CPU for extra performance. In the same effort, the popular overclocker HiCookie managed to overclock Ryzen 9 5950X to 6.362 GHz on all 16 cores while using liquid nitrogen cooling.

The same was accomplished using the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master motherboard and 16 GB of Corsair DDR4 memory. The overclocking done through this method went stable and was able to score 15,517 points on the Cinebench R20 run, which makes the results very impressive as the one provided by AMD scored around 10,157 points. It is currently the highest verified result for an AMD CPU and seems like it is really going to be a great CPU for people who overstress their system for more performance.

The details were shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, where it states that the new lenses would have a  super large aperture and will also have the new stabilizing tech for better images. There are no details on the aperture or other details, but it could be used to get a much better picture in dark lighting scenarios. The video posted by Xioami shows the lens popping out of the phone like a point and shoot camera. For now, it is uncertain as to when the camera tech will be visible in Xiaomi’s phone, but the prototype does promise a great future for smartphone cameras.
