Realme has been busy launching some of its best smartphones in the global market and has also been concentrating on connected accessories. Since the global mobile accessory market is on the rise, the company is investing more resources and time in making new mobile accessories, like TWS earbuds. The company has published the details about the fully wireless Realme Buds Air Pro headphones. The new earbuds will be equipped with noise cancellation features, which will filter out the background noise on the receivers end.

It brings city traffic noise closer to a regular whisper in terms of volume. The earbuds will also come with a feature called transparency mode, which allows you not to completely withdraw into yourself, to control the situation, and react in time to events.

Amazon has recently unveiled two new car-centric features in the Alexa app which works very similar to the Android Auto Mode. The two new features are Auto Mode and Start My Commute, which is designed to work with Alexa auto accessories like the Echo Auto. Auto mode will make the phone safer to use hands-free and an easy to read layout only displaying the most critical information. Start My commute is a feature that will tell you more about the weather, traffic updates, and more while you are driving.

When the phone is locked on the dashboard, Amazon’s Auto Mode will provide you one-touch access to frequent actions, including shortcuts to music, navigation to home or work, and make a call. Also, it will allow you to use voice commands using Alexa to do various things. Each screen will provide you quick access to the most important information. The major changes can also be seen in the communication section where you can place a call, Drop-In, or make an announcement to your Alexa devices.

Also, the new features would allow you to communicate with your family and friends and let them know that you are coming home, all controlled through voice commands. The paly portion will show you the most recent media and will also have a now playing screen with additional controls. Amazon thinks it’s the right time to take Android Auto while providing the users with even more features than before. If you are into the Amazon ecosystem, then you can go for Echo Auto in your car and get the most out of new car-centric features in Alexa.

Mac’s would need the T2 security chips if you want to stream Netflix in 4K.

For those who own a Mac that has been released since 2018 and has the T2 security chip, will be able to stream 4K content from Netflix. When Apple released macOS Big Sur later this year, Mac users finally got the 4K streaming feature in HDR from Netflix. However, it was not just the 4K supported screen that made it possible, but a lot more. In a support document from Apple, it was found that the T2 Security chip in the Mac was the factor that allowed 4K streaming on the device.

This would actually mean that only the latest Macs released after 2018 and with the T2 security chip were able to play UHD content from Netflix. The list of devices with the T2 Security chip is as follows, Macs: 2018 or later MacBook Pro, 2018 or later MacBook Air, 2018 Mac mini, 2019 Mac Pro, iMac Pro, and 2020 iMac. The 4K streaming ability is connected with the T2 chip’s ability to process HEVC encoded videos. Apple also states that the coprocessor can transcode HEVC video up to twice as fast as its previous generation T1 chip.

Therefore if Netflix is using HEVC then the requirement of the T2 security chip for displaying 4K content from Netflix is explained. If you do not have the Mac which has the same T2 security then you will not be able to stream the 4K content in any way from Netflix. However, you can stream 4K content through the Safari browser as other browsers limit the play to 720p.

For WhatsApp users, one of the biggest problems was the constant ringing of messages from the unwanted groups, which they couldn’t leave and also cannot avoid them forever. However, the new feature from WhatsApp will now allow you to do so. The new feature of WhatsApp on Android phones allows the user to mute a certain group forever. This was definitely one of the most demanded features of WhatsApp that the users have been asking for a long time now. The new feature has now appeared on the latest beta update and will soon be rolled out as the final version.

The latest update suggests that there will be a change in the interface for muting the WhatsApp group. As per the current version, the users have the option of muting a group for 8 hours, one week, or one year. Now, alongside the 8 hours and one-week options, WhatsApp users on Android will get an ‘always’ option to tick, giving them relief from the group conversations that they would rather avoid than be notified about. WhatsApp group has been a great feature for the users in order to share the content with family members and friends.

However, it has also led to cyberbullying, scams, and other related activities. WhatsApp has now introduced a stricter privacy control, using which users can now restrict who can add them to a WhatsApp group. Once the privacy settings are on, group invitations will come in the form of a private message, which allows a user to see the group topic and members in it. Also, the forever mute option will give the users better control over group conversations.

Indian Startups meet over Zoom call to discuss breaking the dominance of companies like Google and Facebook.

We already know that Google Play store has made it clear that all the apps that are available on its platform will have to go through the Google Billing system for in-app purchases, which would also lead to a 30% commission for Google. Leading to this update, many Indian companies as well as startups were really disappointed as to how Google has been using its monopoly over the Android users. The company stated that previously a charge of 2-3% over the transaction cannot simply change to 30% commission.

Due to this many Indian companies have now decided to take matters further and look for an alternative. Recently founders of dozens of Indian startups came over a Zoom call earlier this week to discuss how to fight the policies enforced by Google. Also, the Zoom call was based on the motive to shape the digital policy for the long-term future, so that new startups and smaller companies get equal opportunities to grow on the platform.

The Zoom call had almost 56 companies where they discussed the alternative to Google Play Store. This also included the founder of the Paytm app, who said that the digital startup needs to come together and make their voice heard by the government and people.

A similar confrontation has also been happening in the US against Apple and Google for the fees they are charging on their app platform. Additionally, a US antitrust committee is finalizing a report after a long investigation into Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon. Similar steps have also been reported by China, which is planning to consider an antitrust probe into Google. The Zoom call also wanted Companies such as Google or Facebook to incorporate local entities to govern the policies.

OnePlus is doing all sorts of things to increase the excitement over the launch event of OnePluys 8T which will be held on October 14. A few days back, the company tweeted about a new virtual world that will be created for OnePlus users, and then they confirmed that there will be no OnePlus 8T Pro device this year. Now the company has teased a new product on their Twitter handle which looks like a nee audio product.

The teased image was posted on with a link that leads to the OnePlus 8T launch event page. It does mean that this new product will also be part of the product lineup that is expected to launch at the event. The teaser simply shows a silicon earbud, which definitely tells us that it will be a pair of earphones. It was well known that the company is already working on new TWS earbuds, which can be branded as OnePlus Buds Z. The tweet most likely seems to be the same product that the company has been working on. The earbuds are expected to have a closed design rather than semi-open.

Also, it is expected that the new TWS earbuds will be much more affordable and will be launched at a lower price tag. If the price tag comes out to be lower, we can expect a few features to be missing from it as well. APrt from the earbuds, there are a lot of other products that are expected to launch in the same event.
