When it comes to Android users, most of them change their Android phone every 2 years on average. However, when it comes to switching on a new phone, shifting the data from the older phone to the new one and adding all the apps again is a time-consuming process. However, the situations have improved over the last few years and the time has reduced by a lot. Google has been working on the same for a long time now and has improved the seamless migration between smartphones.

Now when it comes to installing the apps again on a new phone, the user has to wait for one app to install at a time. Therefore, if you use a large number of apps, then you will have to wait for a long time until all apps are downloaded and installed one at a time. Google is currently working on a new way for devices to sign into apps on new smartphones. Also, they are also working on bulk restore of apps on the phone through the Install hints feature which will make the most important apps to install and run almost immediately on a new device.

As per Google, it is a feature as a way for app stores, like the Google Play Store, to decide which compiler filter to use for dex2oat when bulk installing new applications, such as during a setup or restore process. It will also take into consideration the app installation and usage, to ensure which one is most frequently used.

Apple is using the TikTok platform for promoting iPhone 12 mini

When it comes to one of the most influential social media apps, there is no denying the fact that TikTok is one of the best among them. It is the reason why many companies have already used the platform to promote their services through many popular TikTok influencers. Now, Apple has joined the list and have been using TikTok influencers to promote their new iPhone 12 series. It has been more than six months since the company has created the account but, it is now that the account has been started to use in full force for iPhone 12.

Apple has apparently commissioned promotional videos from the existing TikTok influencers. It happened last week when Apple added four new videos to the account, where each video is promoting the compact size of the iPhone 12 mini. All four videos use the same camera trickery to make large objects shrink, with the final trick being to shrink the iPhone 12 Pro down to the iPhone 12 mini. Apple currently has more than 376k followers and a similar number of likes.

While it is proving to be an effective promotion for the company, the outgoing White House administration tried to ban TikTok in the US before legal challenges put a stop to that. A similar platform like TikTok has also been implemented in Youtube as Shorts, Instagram as Reels, and now also in Snapchat as Spotlight. Even if TikTok does not have a great future ahead, Apple would have a lot of other options to choose from.

Apple has already been working on a new screen for their devices which could increase the battery time and reduce the power consumption through the display. Now rumors are there that Apple is looking to release a new iPad with a mini-LED display in H1 2021. The company is also planning to release an OLED iPad Pro in the second half of 2021, where the display panels will be produced by Samsung and LG.

A few weeks back news came in that Apple is working on a new device with a mini LED and could be using the same technology in both the iPads and iPhones in the coming years. However, as per the latest news, the new OLED display will be only for iPads and will be worked on by Samsung. Samsung is already preparing its units for manufacturing new OLED screens for Apple. OLED iPad screens will be manufactured with higher specification requirements to prevent burn-in and loss of brightness by stacking emitting layers on top of the OLED panels to ensure longer lifespans of the displays.

Due to this, Samsung has added a special distribution chamber to its OLED production line to meet Apple’s requirements. There is currently no official confirmation or date by Apple as to when they will be launching the new iPad, however, it is expected that the new iPad and iPad Pro will have a better display, longer battery life, and the addition of 5G technology, which is currently only the part of iPhone 12 series.

Samsung is already launching the new Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup in the month of January next year and before that, there have already been a lot of leaks and details which have been provided by tipsters. The most expensive of the three will be Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and will feature a 6.8-inch display with Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz.

When it comes to games, Minecraft is among the best and the most popular gaming titles in the world. The best part about playing Minecraft has been the mods that help the player to customize the game as per their choice and convenience. However, recent news and details have hinted that scammers might be using the same mods on the Minecraft game to scam the users. It has been noted that almost more than 1 million Android devices have been affected by these Minecraft mods.

Scammers are taking advantage of the Minecraft sandbox video game’s wild success by developing Google Play apps that appear to be Minecraft mod packs, but instead, deliver abusive ads. Kaspersky has been able to find more than 20 such apps which were downloaded on these 1 million Android devices. Since the game has been built on Java, it becomes very easy for the third-party developers to create a compatible application and mod packs which would customize the gaming experience.

Currently, there are more than 15000 such mods available for my craft alone. Google Play has currently removed all malicious apps except five, which are Zone Modding Minecraft, Textures for Minecraft ACPE, Seeded for Minecraft ACPE, Mods for Minecraft ACPE, and Darcy Minecraft Mod. Although Google is still checking these mods for any such malicious codes, it is suggested that users should not install the mods currently. The users can also delete the mod from the game completely and it will not affect the device anymore.
