Google has recently launched a new feature to its search engine. The new features are a “licensable” image label and filter in the image search section. The feature of the “licensable” badge is currently rolled out in beta. Google has also changed the usage rights in the search filter to let users search images with common licensed rights and other types of rights which allow them to modify and use the image. The feature was first tested in February this year, after working with the Center of the Picture Industry (CEPIC). Google has made valid points for the feature stating that the owners of the photo should get the credit for it and while anybody uses it. This kind of awareness is important among users.

As per the official statement of Google, “For results where the publisher or image creator provided licensing information, we will display a ‘licensable’ badge over the image. When you select a badged image to view, we will show a link to the license details of the image, and if provided by the publisher, you’ll also find a link to where you can purchase or license the image“. The image provided by the company showcases the feature and the licensable tag as well.

With this feature, the user can filter images only with licensing information. Users will also have the option to select “Creative Commons licenses” or “Commercial & other licenses” from the Usage Rights dropdown menu. The image might also have a link that would take them directly to the owners page for purchase of the image. The image owners can use Schema.org or IPTC metadata formats to be eligible for the licensable badge.

The malware attack has recently become more common in the digital environment and a case has also been reported for Apple. As per the details, Apple passed the malware through the process called “notarisation” and once passed through it, Mac’s Gatekeeper allowed it to run on the system. Although the malware has been fixed, it sounds dangerous to know that it even passed from the inbuilt security on Apple devices. The malware was disguised as an update for Adobe Flash Player and slipped through the toughest screen software of Apple.

The Mac security researchers Peter Dantini and Patrick Wardle found a common malware campaign disguised as an Adobe Flash installer. Apple approved the Slayer malware disguised as Adobe Flash installer. As per the experts, this is one of the most common malware on Mac, which had been prevalent in 2019. However, it does bring to notice the fact that Apple was unable to detect the malicious code when it was submitted. Apple’s Spokesperson said that these types of malicious codes and software keep on changing from time to time and the Apple Notarization process helps to remove them or prevent them from entering the system.

However, in such cases, notarization is used to inform the Apple experts about the malware immediately. After discovering it, multiple variants of such malware were detected and removed as soon as possible. It has been confirmed that it will not be a security concern for Mac users anymore. However, Apple would now be more careful about different kinds of malware after such issues.

A few days back Xiaomi launched two of their best and premium handsets Redmi K30 and Mi 10 Ultra, which at that time was announced exclusively to the Chinese market only. This news came as a bummer for Xiaomi fans all over the world. However, as per the recent details Redmi K30 5G could launch in India soon, opening its way towards the global market. The details that have been leaked hints that the Redmi K30 5G will be launched in Mist Purple and Frost White color variants in India. However, it will only be launched with a 128GB option and not the 256GB option.

It was certainly expected from Xiaomi as the device initially was China-exclusive and launching it in other countries would have made them pull back on some features, which would only be available in the Chinese model. The expected variants that could be launched in India includes 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. This is not the first time it has happened. Earlier the Redmi K30 model which supported the 4G band was launched in India with the name Poco X2. Therefore, one can be expected that the name of the 5G variant could be changed to something else.

When it comes to the price, it is expected that the handset could be priced somewhere between 20K-22K, with an increase in price for the higher models. However, if the company agrees to launch the 256GB model, the prices can go higher. For now, the main specs of China launched version had a Snapdragon 765G SoC, clubbed with an Adreno 620 GPU, with a 4,500mAh battery and 30W fast charging, that could provide long-lasting performance through the day.

PUBG has been one of the most popular games for the mobile platform and they are ready with the new update, which is going to be launched soon. However, a recent revelation from the tech giant shows that online gaming could never be free of cheaters. PUBG has reportedly banned more than 2 million accounts on the platform in just one week. The numbers are from the week starting from August 20 to August 27. It definitely shows that PUBG does not like any kind of cheaters and wants to promote fair gameplay for all the users.

The information for the ban was given by the company through a tweet where it mentioned the reasons for banning such an account. It shows 32% of players were banned for using x-ray vision, 27% used auto-aim, 12% used speed hacks, and 22% were banned for unspecified reasons. The information has been revealed at a very critical time when the new update has been announced and the company is arranging a $2 million esports tournament. The new update will be bringing a 36% improvement in frame rate and a 76% reduction in lag.

Since the company has been adding up so many resources to make the game better, it would certainly not allow any player to damage the experience of other players by cheating. With such a large number of bans, it is expected that PUBG will now be monitoring the profile of the gamer with more strictness and real-time actions can also be possible in the future.

Xiaomi has been working on developing new TV technology to make TV’s much more affordable and smarter. A few days back, details came in where it was expected the TV for Xiaomi could get a bit expensive due to the increase in the price of LCD panels in the market. Also, they have been able to create a transparent OLED TV which is one of its kind that will be commercially available to masses. Another piece of information that has just come out from Xiaomi is that the company will be offering two new variants of TV’s, which will be 82-inch in size.
