This means a lot to the iPhone users as the MagSafe feature would allow the iPhone users to change the look of their iPhone easily using the new MagSafe compatible cases and other accessories.

For example, when we talk about the new cases that will work with the MagSafe technology, you can immediately see that it will be much easier to swap cases. Not only that, with the magnets in action, it will hold to the iPhone in a much stronger way and provide a better fitting. Another important part of the MagSafe feature is that you will not have to remove the case while charging it wirelessly, Since the case is also MagSafe compatible, you can directly change your phone wirelessly using the case.

There are other accessories as well such as the credit card wallet and lens mount which would make it much easier to use those attachments with the power of magnets. The MagSafe feature has opened up a lot of possibilities for iPhone and it will remove any kind of accessories that were clamping to your phone earlier. It will not only provide a much better customization option with easy pop-out and in but will also provide a new platform for upcoming accessories.

With the increase in smartphone usage and new features being embedded into the hardware, the usability of smartphones has increased by folds. Due to this, app developers are coming up with new ideas in the form of apps that have really attracted a lot of users in downloading them and using them. Most of these apps are productive tools that have made the day to day work of many users easier and faster. Due to the same reason, the number of app downloads has also increased by a large number.

Google Play Store reached a total of 28.3 billion downloads for the Q3 period, which is a 31% increase when compared to last year. The number also gives the platform advantage over the Apple App store, where Google Play Store leads the app rave by 3:1. The App Store managed to count a total of 8.2 billion downloads this Q3. One of the most popular categories for Play Store app download has been Games and Education apps, which were also used most by the users during the pandemic.

Apart from that, other popular apps include business and tools for professionals. It is not confusing to see why there was such a big rise in the total number of app downloads for the Google Play Store. Since people were at home and were working from there, they downloaded many productive apps, and non-professionals were focused more on games and other lifestyle and entertainment apps. The trend is expected to go further up in the next quarter.

A new vulnerability was found in Windows 10, called the “Ping of Death“, which was fixed by the company using a Windows 10 patch. The details were provided by Security blog DarkReadings, which confirms that Microsoft patched 87 vulnerabilities, including 21 remote code execution flaws. The numbers revealed are really big when it comes to vulnerabilities in the Windows OS. As per the details, none of these vulnerabilities were exposed apart from 6 which were already known to everyone.

The most critical remote code execution flaw was CVE-2020-16898, which created a vulnerability in Windows TCP/IP settings and improperly handled ICMPv6 Router Advertisement packets. Another major bug was a denial of service flaw (CVE-2020-16899)  in the Windows TCP/IP stack, which would lead an attacker to stop the system from responding. Both of these issues were not found to be exploited before Microsoft could fix them. However, exploitation of these vulnerabilities would have provided the hackers access to the system and further damage as well.

The good news here was that all the issues were found by the internal team of Microsoft, due to which these were immediately resolved with the patch before it came out in the public or could be used by the wrong people. The 87 vulnerabilities were found in Windows, Office and Office Services and Web Apps, Visual Studio, Azure Functions, .NET Framework, Microsoft Dynamics, Open Source Software, Exchange Server, and the Windows Codecs Library. However, once you have updated your Windows 10, these will no longer be an issue.

When OnePlus officially launched its OnePlus 8 and Nord series earlier this year, they had a Facebook bloatware app pre-installed on the devices. However, it seems that OnePlus has stopped doing it now with OnePlus 8T. Earlier, the OnePlus users were happy about the addition of the Facebook app on the device as the app was properly integrated with the UI for additional functionality. However, now the app will not be a part of the device and the users will have to install it from the Play Store.

The change was not taken positively by the users and they are really disappointed about the revelation. OnePlus has confirmed that in order to improve the user experience and keep the phone lighter, they have decided that they will be reducing the amount of pre-installed apps on their phones. It is why they have decided to remove Facebook from the list of the pre-installed app in the OnePlus 8T and all the other future phones from the company. As per them, the background services that the apps were using, led to a decrease in the performance of the phone, which impacted the user experience as well.

Future phones from the company will only include pre-loaded apps like Google, OnePlus apps, and Netflix. As per the company, the decision has also been taken after the feedback that has been received from the users. The change will only be applicable to the OnePlus 8T and all the future phones. However, the users of OnePlus smartphones that have been launched previously are still stuck with the bloatware.
