Yet another leak for OnePlus 9 has come into the scene where the phone is seen to miss out on the periscope lens. The last few weeks have revealed a lot of information about the OnePlus 9 smartphone and giving reports that the phone will be launching in the month of March 2021. As per the reports, the smartphone will come in three variants for now which will be OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Lite. Now as per the new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 9 smartphone series will come with only a regular telephoto lens instead of a periscope lens.

Where other competitors are adopting the periscope lens for their new smartphones, dropping it in the OnePlus 9 might put the smartphone at a disadvantage in their category. It is not an official confirmation yet, but the details that are coming in from the company does make it very much reliable information. It is said that the decision was taken due to the supply chain issue. The phone leaks have already shown that it will have a new 50MP camera sensor on the rear and will have a triple camera setup.

The other two camera lenses on the rear will be the 20-megapixel Cine Camera, an ultrawide lens with f/1.8 aperture, and a 12MP telephoto camera with autofocus and an f/3.4 aperture. The phone camera has not been the main highlight of the phone till the OnePlus 8T, but now the company is shifting its priorities and trying to make the camera unit on the phone the best among its category.

When it comes to charging technology in smartphones, one of the most prominent ones we saw in most of the smartphones is 65W fast charging. However, we all know that the companies have been trying to increase the capacity of fast charging beyond 100W as well, by not using a single battery in the smartphone and instead of using multiple small batteries. Something very similar was also being developed by Realme in the last few months and it finally seems that we have the first leak for the device. Realme has recently created a new Weibo account to tease the new smartphone coming in the market with Snapdragon 888.

The phone has been codenamed “Koi” aka Race and other users on Weibo like Geek_Cao have started posting details about the phone as well. The back of the phone in the images has a big “Dare to Leap” slogan which is the official slogan of the Koi-themed teaser. The phone seems to have a triple camera setup with a 64 camera sensor and all these specs seem to be the same that was expected for Realme Race. The renders of the phone suggest a vegan leather back with a sporty point and a glass back with a two-color gradient. The main highlight of the phone would be the 125W UltraDART fast charging feature which can charge the 4,000 mAh battery to 41% in 5 minutes and to the full 100% in 20 minutes.

This is going to be a great feature for the phone and is something no other smartphone has offered till now. The company will also be featuring a new smartphone called the Realme V15 model which will be powered using the MediaTek Dimensity 800U and will have the 50W fast charging feature. It seems that both the smartphones will be launched at the same time and will be interesting to see at what price tag will they be launched in the market.

Recently, Chen Jing, general manager of Lenovo’s China mobile phone division, has posted an image on Weibo which represents the new phone that will be coming under the name of Motorola. The packaging of the new phone is for the Motorola flagship device that will be launched very soon and will be using the next-generation Snapdragon 888 chipset from Qualcomm. Now the question that is in everyone’s mind right now is whether the company will be removing the charger from the packaging like all the other companies that are releasing the premium flagship smartphone. However, the photo of the package does not give any idea about the thickness and dimension which does leave us with this unanswered question. Oppo has been making a huge development in phones with expandable screens and in the month of August this year, the company patented a new design for the smartphone which was a slider with an extendable display. However, it seems like the company is working really fast on its development and we will soon see the new phone come into the light. Recently, the colored renders of this special edition phone by American fashion designer and filmmaker Tom Ford has appeared online and it looks really attractive.

The renders show a beautiful back panel of the phone with a triple camera setup and engraving below it, “OPPO X TOM FORD – DESIGN FOR CONCEPT SHAKIRA“. Below the designer’s name, you will also be able to notice the LED flash. The screen in the front does not have any kind of punch hole cutout or pop-up camera module, hinting at an under-display front camera. There is a sim card slot on the right and is only accessible when the phone is extended.

The golden finish on the frames makes the phone look really luxurious. The phone has a lot of elegant and fine touches that can be easily seen in the render. However, there are currently no other details about the phone which can tell more about the hardware specs for the same. However, it is expected that the phone will be 5G enabled and might include the Mediatek chipset as well. For now, we will have to either wait for more leaks or some official confirmation from the company.

When it comes to streaming of live gaming sessions, India had a lot of users who were streaming live gameplay of PUBG. However, after the ban of the game, they were not allowed to play the game and stream it at the same time. However, despite the ban of the game in the Indian market, many players are still playing it and also playing the foreign versions including Korea (KR). Indian YouTubers are using the VPN services and live streaming or uploading the videos of PUBG Mobile KR to earn money. However, all the video streamers doing so will be heavily penalized by the government.

One of the bloggers recently sent a letter to such gamers who were streaming PUBG even after the ban. The letter tells them about the consequences they will have to face if they keep breaking the law. In return, the reply from the gamers was the requirement of “text from the government, explicitly saying that the PUBG Mobile KR (Korean) version of the game is banned.” As per the statement given from BGR.in, “Many have been breaking the law and playing the Korean or global versions of the game, using a virtual private network (VPN) service

Though many of them will not be caught, as a VPN service masks your IP and masks the incoming data packets with an encryption layer. However, many streamers tournament organizers and esports organizations can face penalties as they have been putting out content for the banned game.” The undivided attention of the users on the game makes it one of the most downloaded in the Indian market. Even after the ban, the country is seeing a large number of downloads for the global version of the game.

Recently many Apple users were facing the issue where they were able to set up a new Apple device using their iCloud id. The issue with iCloud activation has been happening with a lot of users globally and Apple has not confirmed the actual reason behind it. However, Apple has now confirmed that the issue has finally been resolved, just 36 hours after the first case was reported. The issue seems to start on December 25, at 4:45 AM ET. The issue appeared to have affected multiple Apple devices that needed iCloud setup and sign in.

As per the complaint from Apple users, they were unable to set up any new Apple device using the same iCloud account and since the outage came on Christmas, many new devices that were purchased as gifts were unable to register the phone and use it after the setup. The company did provide an official tweet mentioning that “experiencing a high capacity at this time, which is impacting your ability to set up iCloud, please try back in a couple of hours.”

A similar event also happened with Google a few days back where they suffered from a worldwide outage on their service including Youtube and Gmail. A day later, Google faced another outage on Gmail due to data migration and it seems that these issues have become a lot more prominent with the tech companies. If you are using an Apple device and were facing issues with the iCloud activation before, it will be working fine now.
